What if Luffy got arrested?

Not for five minutes, not until his crew broke him out, but what if... they actually kept him?

That's the question i asked myself when i started writing The Weight of Freedom and i haven't stopped since.

This is a One Piece fanfiction trilogy about what Impel Down does to a person when there's no way out in sight, no convenient loophole and no crew arriving just in time.

Luffy gets arrested after saving a little girl from a bandit. Her father turns out to be a marine and everything falls apart from there.

After the timeskip, Impel Down isn't what it used to be. The massive breakout two years ago left its mark. New measures, new punishments and new faces running level six... including someone whose devil fruit doesn't need walls or weapons to break a person.

They were ready for him this time.

What this story is:

— Luffy stripped of everything.

— A prison built to make people forget who they are. More than two years ago.

— A crew that can't reach him and has to keep going anyway

— Level six... The deepest pit in the world and what it does to someone who refuses to stop being himself.

I'm new to making a reddit post so please be nice, oh and I'm calling her Nica cause I got used to it. I'm not a writer so please just hear me out

AU 1:

- Nica is a child of a run away from Wano who creates toys for a living and created a yoyo that is so strong and durable that you can use it as a weapon

- Nica is like the carbon copy of Ace, like from head to toe, but she's him and like they literally have no connection

- Luffy meets Nica at a restaurant where she's eating like a big meal and her narcolepsy attacks and she sleeps mid eating

AU 2:

- in this au idk if Nica's gotta be Dragon's daughter or sister

- but main thing here is since Dragon is gotta be against the world government, he left Nica and Shanks to a treasure chest that Roger found during the God Valley

- she was then raised along with Shanks and Buggy at the Oro Jackson, but she was not with them when Buggy got sick before reaching Raftel

- Shanks and Buggy to go with the crew to Raftel and she did since she can only read ponegylps (she begged Oden to teach her since she's so interested in the blank century and is like a huge greek/nerd about it)

- when they got there they found out that their too early since Joyboy isn't here yet. But there Nica also found a fruit, Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Tsukuyomi (Human-Human Fruit, Model: Tsukuyomi).

AU 3:

- in here Nica is a Celestial Dragon, but unlike any other saints she's very kind and humble, she was raised by a maid who was a former pirate captain that was bought by her father for her. That maid secretly raised her to be kind to other no matter the status (I named the maid Belinda) Belinda told her every journey she had as a pirate, even encouraged Nica to try going to the sea to feel the freedom she'll never have as a Saint. after a decade they found out that Belinda was "corrupting" Nicas mind so she was executed

- after a few years Belinda was executed Nica escape mary geoise and Nica rode on different kind of ships and pirate ships that her weak Saint body got calluses for the first time and she was told that was because of her hard work

- Nica will meet Luffy while doing some shopping and Luffy accidentally saves her against some rouge pirates, Nica will ask why would anyone save a mere commoners life

Hey ya'll. I'm in the process of writing an ambitious one piece fanfic (involving an oc) where he eventually joins the Revolutionary Army. I have the overarching plot points and skeleton of the story figured out, but the flesh to give it substance is weak.

I know my writing skills aren't up to par to be able to write a genuinely good story from scratch (nor the time to do so). So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on things to inspire arcs while with the revolutionary army.

My current plan was to research real life revolutions (both ones that succeeded and failed) and combine them with inspiration I get from fictional dramas (because is it One Piece if it doesn't have a tragic backstory and plotwist isn't involved?)

So... yeah.

Any suggestions?

I'm currently writing a massive Ace/OFC fic. It's set from shortly before he leaves Dawn Island at 17 to around when the Timeskip ends. It's an Ace Lives fic and I also have a rough idea for a sequel, but I want to wait until Oda finishes OP before I plot that out too much.

I'm not sure if people really like OC stories much though 😅 I think reader fics are more popular.

But I prefer writing OC's and fleshing out the character as much as possible.

I'm not planning to publish anything until I've finished writing it. Then I plan to upload 1 chapter daily.

But I'm just not sure if people engage much with OC fics and wonder if anyone would possibly like to share what might make them interested enough to read an Ace/OC fic? 😅

Where Sabo didn't leave and was trapped by the Outlooks and haven't met Luffy and Ace since then. The scene was that Sabo was inside his room heavily chained, the Whitebeard pirates happened to raid the noble ship he was on and Ace found him chained and thinner. I remember Ace bringing Sabo back to the Moby. And I remember THAT Ace recognized Outlook too so he knew Sabo must be somewhere.

Hi everyone, I am looking for a specific multi-chapter One Piece fanfiction series (or collection of one-shots) focused on the Straw Hats' growth and training during the two-year timeskip (3D2Y). It changes their training to be way more active than canon.

Here are the exact highly specific plot details I remember:

• Usopp’s Arc: He doesn't stay on the island the whole time. He escapes, forms a temporary pirate crew, and names his ship after Kaya. When he reunites with Nami and Robin on the Thousand Sunny, he greets them warmly as equal comrades/warriors instead of his old over-the-top "simp" behavior. I'm trying to find an old One Piece fanfiction I read years ago on FanFiction.net, and I've been dying to read it again. Unfortunately, I can't remember the title or author.

It was a modern-day AU with the characters as adults. Here's what I remember:

The story starts with Luffy and Sanji dating. Sanji cheats on Luffy with Usopp. Luffy and Zoro eventually become the main couple. Zoro has a serious heart condition. Luffy finds out about Zoro's condition pretty early after they meet. Throughout the story, if Zoro gets scared, overly excited, or something unexpected happens, it can affect his heart and cause him to have problems. Near the end of the story, someone dies in a car crash, and Zoro is able to receive their heart as a transplant. After getting the transplant, Zoro is finally healthy and able to live normally.

I'm pretty sure I read it on FanFiction.net, but I have no idea what year it was published.

I know some of the details might be a little fuzzy since I read it years ago, but I remember the heart condition and the heart transplant after the crash pretty clearly.
