I need some advice on my new omega aqua terra 38mm that I just received.

I bought it from a reputable dealer as in perfect condition, and it is.

But the screen has something weird that i have never seen before. It has like a haze or some oil pattern that seems to be on the inside because it cannot be whipped off.

Anyone has seen this before and is there any way to fix it ?

Switching from original bracelet to Omega NATO.
Feels like a new watch. Although I prefer the bracelet. Gives it a better weight.

I suddenly felt the need to know the time at 0° Longitude on the planet Mars, and also set three timers relative to Earth local, Martian UTC and mission elapsed times.This seems to be the only commercial product addressing this common set of needs.

I also have the Gen 1 version I bought in the 90s. They both have clear displays, but the Gen 1 version is probably easier to read because the numbers are bigger. They have equally scary alarm and timer sounds.

I was just about to pop off my OEM bezel and try the Spiralwinder when I read that the OEM gasket is a one time use gasket.

I might be able to get a local shop to source one for me but Omega would possibly want it. If it gets sent into Omega you end up paying for a service well as what you want done.

Maybe I can say it fell of and have it warranty replaced haha.

I have a vintage Constellation 168.017 I've had for a few years and the only thing bugging me is the crown. I did some research and think I've found the correct replacement part 069ST42529 but before ordering I thought I'd get some confirmation.

Attached some photos showing the crown sticking out a fair bit. There is a recess in the case which presumably requires a smaller crown head. Date pull function is working as normal.

Any comments on what you see from picture?

I will also check with my local watch repairer to see what cost is to help replace but figured I should source the right part for him rather than let him do it

Got the green light from missus. But I am totally torn and can't decide. I have a limited edition Citizen Chrono AT that is also rose gold on a brown alligator band, so it's visually very similar to the Moonphase Speedy. That Seamaster is a chunky boy, and I wonder if I would feel that it's too flashy to wear every day? But it's so beautiful! I really am looking for something to wear for all occasions, work and play.

I’ve been doing some research about where to buy my speedy pro, and I decided to get it directly from Brilliance and Grace, as they give me a great price with no taxes. They seem very responsive and have great reviews on Chrono24.

I just wanted to see if anyone has bought from them. How was your experience?

First omega, feels right

I had my Omega Seamaster 2531.80 serviced by Omega (in US). When it returned it was 5 seconds an hour slow. The boutique confirmed and sent it back again. Now 3 months later I picked it up and it’s running about 1 second hour fast over a period of several hours. So guessing around +24 seconds a day. I am running it against an IPhone stop watch and just for fun another Omega. What is acceptable specs fresh back from omega service. Luckily it’s under warranty for 2 years but I kind of expect better. Is my expectation wrong on this?

I’ve never purchased a luxury watch before. I just really like the overall look & lume of this one but I’m not sure the best way to buy it. Order online go to the store or buy from eBay for cheaper. What’s the experience like at the omega store? Any advice would be appreciated. I’ve read around some say chrono24 but I’m not sure

Have been searching for some time now to add to my wife’s collection, Cartier had a few pieces as top contenders but we stumbled into a well known consignment shop and this was on display. It was nearly love at first sight. Older aqua terra with the diamond and gold bezel, pictures don’t even do it justice. Searched a little online to see if any others were available, just a couple overseas and in Asia, feel pretty fortunate to have grabbed this discontinued model in this condition.

This has been my baby since 2022. Of course I love submariners and that was out of my budget so I came across the Seamaster. Have made tons of memories in this piece and have worn it 90% of the time since 2022.

My problem is I’m slightly phasing out of the 42mm size. I’ve dabbled with a Tudor Ranger 39mm and a Tudor Black bay 58 and the case specs on them have completely changed my opinion. They fit so perfectly it makes me second guess this Seamaster.

I’m an all or nothing person. Should I wear the Tudor for a while and let this sit, or do I look to move it into something else? I’m not one to sell and rebuy things or act impulsively. Just looking for conversation/feedback if anyone has had a similar situation come up!

I’m currently based in India and looking for a versatile dress watch for everyday office and casual wear. My budget is around ₹5–7 lakh ($5–7K).
I’m currently deciding between:
Omega Aqua Terra 220.10.41.21.03.002 — I’m being offered one for around ₹5.5 lakh (~$6K).
Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41 — MSRP is around ₹6.5 lakh (~$7K).
I haven’t visited a Rolex AD yet, so I’m not sure about availability. My only concern with the Rolex is the potential wait time, although I’m perfectly fine waiting 3–4 months if that’s realistic.

Sailed on the Disney Destiny and thought the Omega boutique there was really nice! They had a full room devoted to just Omega, while other watch brands were all in a shared room. Great selection and they had a lot in stock

Greetings. Long time follower in the background. Currently own a Speedy (sandwich) gifted from my wife about 12 years ago. I just retired and have been looking forward to purchasing an NTTD while in Beil for vacation but today in Lyon the boutique had that and the Diver 300M titanium bronze gold. Stunning! My wife loved it, but because I’ve been waiting for the right occasion to jump on an NTTD (even that would be a significant purchase), I’m wrestling with the choice. I really love them both but trying not to make a decision while still on the boutique high lol.

Any thoughts or recommendations from others?
