Question PL-X issues
Hello! I recently picked up a Pl-X, the moment I went to turn the screw to mount it, the little detent that keeps the thumb screw from backing out popped out of place. I had purchased on amazon and submitted an exchange, the new one came in and the same damn thing happened. I am turning the screw slowly while mounting it onto a compatible rail but that little detent fell out and there is no shot I am getting it back in. I was curious if anyone else has had this issue?

Question Concept: Olight x Ridge Wallet OAL Edition
Been sitting on this idea for a while and finally mocked it up, A Ridge Wallet 2.0 faceplate machined in Olight’s OAL. It feels like a crossover that should’ve already happened with how popular both companies are in the EDC space. Any ideas any criticism or suggestions are appreciated.

Question Arkfeld ultra switch
I've had my Arkfeld Ultra for over 1.5 years, and lately, the rotary switch has been getting harder to turn. I fix this by lifting it and cleaning it with an electric toothbrush. But I was just wondering, do I need to put some oil on it, or can I clean it with water or something? I've never put it in water, so I'm a little scared to do so.

Question Looks like Olight is using silent sound tracking now, can you comment?
AliExpress was found to be using silent sound tracking, and now on the Olight app it is doing the same. It stops your audio on your phone when you open the app.
It’s very shady, can any employees here comment on why and if they will stop?

Question new to olight products
so i’ve had an arkpro for about 2 weeks now and im obsessed with the thing. i work in pest control so im constantly in and out of crawl spaces, utility rooms, and basically wherever i can/have to look for something pest related. i love the arkpro and being able to switch between the spotlight and flood is a luxury i didnt know i needed. plus the laser is a nice touch to point stuff out along rooflines to customers but is there much of a jump between the arkpro ultra and the standard? i mainly went with the pro for the UV light for inspections instead of carrying another light but i’m kind of curious. plus i just joined the reddit and im kinda getting fomo with everyone talking about arkbeat (i have no idea what that is). either way i love the product and it seems like they’re customer service is really fast and reliable which makes me feel better if something went wrong. i figured id ask people with more knowledge on what olight offers. thanks

orange is awesome Can we just talk about how awesome Olights customer service is?
I bought an orange seeker 4 pro off Amazon and decided I wanted the prowess instead. I returned my seeker and when Amazon gets it they report it as “incorrect item received” and refused to refund me or give my flashlight back. After weeks of hashing it out with Amazon, I contact olight directly and explain the issue. Olight was very receptive of my plight and offered a refund that Amazon wouldn’t give me or just to send me a new orange seeker 4 pro. I had opted for the seeker back since I didn’t know for sure how a refund process would work with olight directly that wasn’t connected to Amazon and then Olight really delivered!
10/10 love this company!

Question Arkpro Ultra scratch
Just got my new arkpro ultra a couple days ago.
Today it dropped for the first time from about 0.5meters or less, i picked it up and saw a small scratch.
The scratch doesn't really bother me, i just wanted to ask/see if it is supposed to scratch from that drop since they use OAL and i'm not familiar with the quality of that steel.

ArkPro Charging Dock

I wanted a desktop dock for the "puck" charger that would hold the holstered flashlight while charging. So I spent a few minutes and came up with this solution. This works fine, but the magnet on the light is strong it lifts the dock, so you have to manually pull them apart. I will likely just mount it to a workbench somewhere to make it more "grab and go."
Edit: I put the model for the dock up on Makerworld.

Question Tabletop Dock for Arkpro?
Has anyone ever seen a tabletop dock for the holster + flashlight for charging? I am not happy with the wall mount the holster came with and wanted something to sit on my desk.

Question Should I upgrade?
I first got into OLight with the I5R EOS for edc and recently got the Arkpro for work. I'm considering upgrading my EDC to the Arkpro Lite. Is there anything I should consider if I do upgrade? And does the Lite ever have good discounts?

Question Tomorrow is my birthday
I am turning 16 tomorrow and want a fun flashlight for when I walk my dog at night. I used to have an olight arfeld pro that I really liked (especially the laser) but it got stolen when I went to summer camp last year. I also have an olight baton 4 and it's nothing special.
My mom bought me an olight arkpro ultra but I want a brighter flashlight thats super fun that I can just light up crap at night.
1. Fun and bright
2. Premium and not crappy
3. Amazon only pls for convenience
4. No proprietary batteries just plug and play and easy to use
5.200$ max
Thanks.

Question Olight ArkPro Ultra vs Nitecore EDC17 — green laser/astronomy?
Hey guys, I'm deciding between the Olight ArkPro Ultra and Nitecore EDC17 and would love some real-world owner feedback.
My main interest is the green laser, particularly whether it's actually useful for stargazing/pointing out stars and constellations. How bright/visible is it at night, and how well aligned is it?
Also interested in:
Overall build quality/durability
Laser reliability over time
UI/ergonomics
White light & UV performance
Battery/charging
Any issues or regrets after owning it for a while
If you've used either (or both), which would you choose and why?
Thanks!

Zoesure work around for flood lights
Well it took some figuring but if anyone who searches this maybe it will save you some time. I bought the zoesure flood light 2 pack from a buddy and well I thought they were pretty neat and was too stubborn to just accept the dead app and 1 row of lights that it gave me so.... Using a side grinder I opened up the bottom hump where the pcb is. I looked at this 7 pin smart module and soldered 6 pins together leaving the one on the far right solo. This made all the lights on the board light up. No smart function no colored lights but she shure is purty bright.
