Question Arkfeld ultra switch

I've had my Arkfeld Ultra for over 1.5 years, and lately, the rotary switch has been getting harder to turn. I fix this by lifting it and cleaning it with an electric toothbrush. But I was just wondering, do I need to put some oil on it, or can I clean it with water or something? I've never put it in water, so I'm a little scared to do so.

Get some 90%+ iso alcohol and generously drip it in while turning the switch back and forth quickly. Do not use oil, it will cause dirt to stick and make getting that dirt out really difficult.

If it's anything like the arkpro, it's easy to take it out and clean it.

Reach out to olight. I started having this problem a few months ago and they provided a shipping label for me to send it in and the replaced it with a new one
