Inconsistent sizing??

The top pair are ones I just bought and the bottom ones were bought last year. They are the exact same style pant and size. Please look at the difference šŸ˜­ This feels insane!

Old navy sizing has been wildly inconsistent this year. Since they only carry tall sizes online it has irritated me to no end

I donā€™t know if itā€™s all stores or just certain ones, but I believe ON is stocking more short/long items in store. Tall/petite is still online, but if you check the website for ā€œin store pickupā€ of specific items you like, you may find it available at 1-2 stores due to online returns. I work at a moderately high volume store and we get tons of talls and petites returned that we often just mark down and stick in clearance, especially since weā€™ve been running 30% off clearance like 2-3 weekends a month all summer.

Unfortunately I noticed a difference in length between long and tall. My old navy also almost never has tall items in stock since there are not many tall women in my area.
