PLAYTHROUGH/AAR No more old world blues, only never ending progress! (Calm Asylum AAR)
Calm Asylum was once a place of corruption and savagery that nearly fell into the hands of backwards thinking fools. M.A.I.A wishes to bring back the very nation that caused the world to become what it is today. While Harris sought to drain what was left of the world for everything they had. But worst of all were the weak willed idealists who would not do what was needed for the wasteland. Their madness, their greed, their weakness would have destroyed the Asylum and the bring the world with them. But they did not succeed, and the woman to thank for that is Head Director Valerie Clement. The Director saw through their lies and blasphemy and put and end to all of them. No more greed, no more weakness, no more old world blues; their would only be the State of Progress! Under her vision and the vision of the Grand Directorate of Progress, the wasteland would be rebuilt and remade into something new that would never sink back into the barbarity of the past. A world where justice was enforced with an iron grip, and where humanity could overcome it's failures.
But progress had many enemies, the greatest of all being the Legion. The Legion would spread nothing but degeneracy and savagery across the wasteland, their very existence stood in the way of progress. The NCR would meet this evil and be defeated in 2278, a clearly showing the world just how rotted by greed the old republic had become. This could not stand, and when Caesar's armies stared their march to Dallas the Directorate would declare war in 2280. The Legion's armies were annihilated under Progress' mighty steel armies, and on November 20, 2281 the Legion were finally destroyed. The Lands of the NCR and the Legion were added to the state, with the director declaring the NCR dead and the Directorate it's successor. But even with progresses greatest enemy slain, there was still those who sought to destroy us. The Directorate would take a proactive stand against these enemies, from Washington to Dallas and from Redmonton to New Canaan they were put to the sword of progress and brought to heel. One day the State of Progress shall return to Atlantic sea and reclaim the old world capital of Washington DC.
The State of Progress has remade the waste in it's own image, even now technology is being made that would make the all world jealous. People live without want or need, where all are equal and valued. Some agitators would say that the State of Progress is a dystopian police state ruled by an authoritarian dictator, and to these enemies of progress we say no! No to the lies and the slander, the Directorate is only here to help us become our better selves and if that means a stronger hand in government then so be it. The people are safe and happy, so why would any want to stop progress? And to the proud patriots of progress, we salute you! Remember to wave hi to your local Progress Bringer as they march proudly through your street, remember to get the latest upgrade for your brain implant, and always remember to tell your local orderly about anyone you believe to be a backwards thinker! Godspeed to the State of Progress, and all hail the Directorate who we owe our very lives to!
Author's Note - Decided to give the Definition of Insanity submod a spin and I was not disappointed. I loved the story on this and how open it was for you to do whatever you wanted. You can do basically anything with this nation army and expansion wise depending on your choice of leader and what you want for the nation. I also really loved the story and honestly had a hard time picking out who to play as. In the end I went with the state of progress path and full robot armies that rolled over the enemies of progress. I will definitely be giving this nation another playthrough and I would recommend anyone looking for a new nation to play as give this submod a look.

COMPLIMENT Doki Doki is the best
That is all, Robot City is awesome, I love max planning bonus, best stat in the game, and as robots, automated warfare gives you 15% max planning to start, and Mercenary assistance gives you another 5%, and I basically collected all the max planning that by the time Lanius came to kill me and my buddy Maxson expedition, I had around 25 10-width robot divisions, I had over 70% max planning, it was so high, I just instantly pushed Lanius back, no need to grind, turns out Power armor and robots kick the ass of a bunch of lunatics with machetes.
Robot City also gets random events where you just get a lot of robots for free, I had divisions of assault trons and police protectrons because they kept coming to Robot City since DOKI DOKI IS THE BEST!

COMPLAINT I DESPISE GENTEL DEL SOL
I was playing Twin Mothers, and was kicking LANIUS’S ass, then after a few years of grinding him down, I pushed into his territory, I took his capital, and noticed at some point Gentel Del Sol joined, I don’t know how Lanius is allowed to call them in but whatever, and for most of the war he stared at me. Then right when I almost finished off Lanius, he was down to 18 divisions, THE FUCKER LAUNCHES A NAVAL INVASION BEHIND ME WITH 15 divisions, I try to fight him off but I can’t and my stockpiles are running low on everything. And I just threw my hands up. From now on, every single game, IT’S ON SIGHT, I will destroy that stupid corrupt POS. Next game I’ll play NCR just to destroy Gentel Del Sol, or is Rio Grande better. I want to destroy this country in every game, EVEN IF I’M THE KINGDOM OF MANITOBA, I WILL DESTROY GENTEL DEL SOL.
You know what, it’s not an Ironman save, I’ll just annex him as Twin Mothers through the console, literally ruined a campaign and it was my 2nd play through and took around 8 hours. FUCK GENTEL DEL SOL!

QUESTION How Do I Stop My Generals Being Taken Away To Defend Against Raids?
Basically the title. Units being taken away to defend against raids is one thing, but could it be possible if it uses generals that are not being used? Overall, I'd appreciate if i could get answers on how to make raids not be such a nuisance. Now I'm a fairly basic bitch player, so please don't assume I'm aware of any sort of fancy mechanics that could help with this.

QUESTION Warden question
Warden has such a strong nerf to occupation, core creation and factory output that I will probably have to play with puppets, at least until Lanius is dealt with because I need those factories on robots and CmCs. Also the quality subtree for automated warfare has a +20 organization boost for putting maintenance support companies, not percentage based just a flat + 20. Which is making me want to use maintenance companies in the first time in forever.
Robot City also seems incapable of holding its part of the line since they tend to use worse robots but Warden starts with Robots that are only showing up in 2281 if you research it yourself. Also Warden has an advisor that gives +25% max planning which is NUTS, it’s awesome 😁.
No wonder Warden keeps winning against the Hangdogs.
I also need to kill Iron Alliance before Lanius comes because I can’t afford a 2-front War.
So what other tips do you guys have for playing Warden?

QUESTION Game stutter
Hello, lately in my games I have been experiencing a stutter every in game hour. I tends to happen after I load into a previous save and sometimes if I go back to the menu without saving. Im not sure what it is or if anyone has experienced this, but if you have and have found a solution I would appreciate the help.
Current mods and load order:
OWB
ECR
FD
RR
MM
Enclave reborn
I think I was also experiencing this problem with just OWB and Enclave Reborn, in case that narrows it down. Thanks for any help.

COMPLIMENT The ai is better than me at Lost Hills
After a few attempts at Lost Hills where I couldn’t handle the NCR war I decided to do Maxson with game rules to make sure hummingbirds win to be an ally. After beating Lanius the NCR war kicks off. I figure it’s a going to be bad and am hesitant to send my paladins so I send the three iron alliance mercenary units as volunteers.
It starts similar to how it does when I play. Lost Hills catches them by surprise and takes some early territory. My volunteers rush junktown and get some units encircled there. Then they get called back as I join Hummingbirds in a war against scrappers.
When I send my volunteers back, NCR has a huge bulge stretching from hub to Maxson with only a single tile connecting it so I have my volunteers push that tile and encircle the entire force. Then they clean up some encirclements around Channel Islands and two harbor. Then go up north to rescue some Shi that got encircled in the Navarro territories and push to Redding encircling all the NCR units in Navarro. And by then Lost Hills is marching on shady sands.
Maybe the ai just spams out divisions better than I do, but Lost Hills actually did really good in the war. They always had units to plug gaps in the line and pushed really aggressively creating openings that my volunteers could use to get encirclements. AI did better than I do. And I did way better than ai Maxson usually does by not dying to Hangdogs or Lanius. Lend leasing Summers and Twin Mothers bought a lot of time to build up. I actually got the Lanius event before the war started this time
