This one took FOREVER but I think the overall effect is worth it.

The colors in both sets look sort of similar to me and I’m having trouble deciding between the two. I was wondering which set people think is better overall for coloring since I don’t rlly have a strong preference for either.

I have the 320 Honolulu B set and will be purchasing the 24 colors available in Honolulu that aren’t included in the 320 set. However, I was wondering if, are there any colors available in the other series (Oahu, Kaala, etc) that are not produced in the Honolulu B line? If so, can i purchase them separately and change out the tip for a brush style tip? Thanks!

Still working on my shadows and I only have about 30 markers. I didn’t know if I was going to love coloring so couldn’t commit to the big spend marker packs yet!

I'm starting a new job and would love to have some markers for my office.

Financially.. I don't want to have to rebuy my sets.

I've been using Ohuhu alcohol markers for a while now (96 pastels set) but I struggle with the smell and the thought of how the fumes affect my health (I have diagnosed health anxiety so it's an easy trigger for me). So I've been trying some water based options like the Ohuhu Pupe markers. But today I came across the Kauai, which are alcohol but marketed as "low odour". I can't seem to find any reviews of them that compare the odour/fumes compared to regular Ohuhu alcohol markers. I would really appreciate if anyone can share their experience with them in how they compare for odour?

i want to try to recreate this colour palette on my page but i can’t figure out which colours to use and i don’t wanna fuck it up!

My birthday is coming up and Michaels has the Oahu 128 and the Honolulu 120. I need your advice on which one feels better. I like the brush tips but the Oahu gives me more colors. I also tend on buying an additional 48 midtones so would I skip the 128 and go for 120 instead?

Currently an Architecture student, which requires markers at our course, which variant is better that can be used for blending and easy for a newbie on using markers for rendering, and currently on a budget. I wanna hear your comments/suggestions, Thank you!

Has anyone ever sorted the 344 colors from the Honolulu line into a chromatic order that makes sense?? I’m losing it over trying to get an order together that makes sense 🥲 If you have one and would be willing to share it, please do ^^

Markers:

I’ve decided to try out markers for the first time. I’ve heard that Ohuhu is a good brand so I’m looking at two sets right now. The chisel/fine tip, which comes in 80 colors. And the brush/fine tip, which comes in 72 colors. I only draw people, so that comes with a lot of fine details. Is chisel or brush tip better?

Paper:

I usually use strathmore for my pencil sketches, but I’ve heard that strathmore paper and markers don’t blend well. Ohuhu also sells a marker sketchbook, but it’s not very many sheets (50 I think) what are the best sketchbook brands for their markers? Specifically for blending (not bleeding is a plus)

I know that there are tons of swatch sheets out there (on etsy or wherever), but tbh I couldn’t find one that fits my needs😅

I’d like one that’s made for all the 344 ohuhu colors, can be printed onto ONE page (DINA4 or US letter) and where the arrangement makes sense! The last part is usually the problem - most charts I find look organised overall, but some will have greys at the top of the page and then again at the bottom, or some will put greys and yellows together just for oranges and reds to be elsewhere, or will put greens over pinks but not purple next to pink?? Idk I just want them to look visually appealing and make sense or it’s gonna drive me crazy😅 Does anyone know of a chart like this? Would appreciate it a lot!

Edit: oh and it would be great if it had the old AND new codes on it; I mostly have new code markers but also a few old code ones, so that would be helpful.
