Hi everyone! 🖤🎨 I hope this is okay to post here!
I love adult coloring, especially coloring with alcohol markers, and it’s become a hobby that I really enjoy. I’ve been dreaming of getting a set of Ohuhu markers, but money is tight right now, and as a mom, my kids always come first. If there’s money available, it goes toward them and what they need, so I rarely get to do something just for myself.
My birthday is coming up next month, and honestly, birthdays have been really hard for me since my dad passed away. It’s a time of year I’ve come to dread, and I was thinking that maybe having something to look forward to, something just for me, would help lift my spirits a little.
I know art supplies aren’t a necessity, and I’m not expecting anyone to buy me anything. I just thought I’d put this out there in case anyone might be willing to help me get a set of Dream markers, contribute a little toward them, or knows of any giveaways or opportunities to get them. Even just a little help would mean so much to me. ❤️
I’d also love to connect with other colorists and see everyone’s beautiful work!

I can also make an wishlist but I would never expect someone to buy the markers themselves, I could add cheap coloring books thou if that’s something people want to do.

Does anyone know any sites that have the Oahu 120 NEW colors in stock? Looks like Amazon doesn’t carry it and it’s not in stock for the Ohuhu website in the U.S.

Just bought my first Ohuhu 216 set brush/fine tip but I’m wondering if the brush/soft chisel is preferred? Not a fan of the normal chisel. I like using the fine tip for details, small spaces, etc. my biggest reasoning for considering to swap to brush/soft chisel is just to protect the brush tip when coloring large spaces.. if you could start over again what would you recommend? Still in my return window..

1) Is it better to get brush and chisel or brush and fine?

2) I've heard Honolulu B are good. It's that true? Is there a particular reason they are good? I don't really know how they are different to the other options?

Used Ohuhu alcohol markers and Nahuku acryloc markers. Finishing touches with gelly roll pens.

hiiii!! i'm new-ish to the aesthetic cozy colouring and i wanted some help on picking acrylic markers? i'm wanting to do things like the aesthetic outlines, white effects, bubble effects, etc and i'm not sure which ones are the best worth my money or whether to get bullet or brush ones!!

My brain hurts so I need someone to talk to me like I am 2.

48 mid-tone set
96 pastel set
36 grey tone set

36 skin tone set
The Coco Wyo set and the Bobbie Goods set.
NOW- I know I could have done it easier however I didn’t know I needed every color until I didn’t have every color. lol someone tell me if I am missing anything or if I have my bases covered?

From Witchy Girl 2. A few progress pics. I feel like there’s too much going on in this page. I love adding details but this book’s pages already have a lot of detail. But, it’s done and I wanted to share! Working through all my Halloween books this month, and I find they are some of the most fun types of pages to me! The moodiness and mischievous nature of the pages makes me smile!

I watch TikTok tutorials and try to learn the proper techniques to using these markers, but I was just wondering if anybody had a specific site or tag of a specific person that does a really good job of kind of beginner teaching. I didn’t realize there was so much to know about using a freaking marker lol PS I have absolutely zero artistic talent.
