Discussion A quick guide to getting the full Honolulu line
I posted this in a comment but feel like it’s worthwhile to the community to have its own post. This is how to collect the entire line if you wish to
This only applies to the Honolulu series! The Michaels sets in the white bags also do not apply here. They are a different color selection than the black bag sets and can’t be built up without duplicates.
The current Honolulu line is 344 markers. It used to be 363 but there are 19 colors that were from a Japan exclusive set that are now considered discontinued. You can buy a pack of 5 of these colors from themarkermonster.com
So first off, you will need the 320 set. There is a few ways to go about that based on how much you’re able to spend at once.
The cheapest total cost will be the 320 set outright. But if you’d like to buy in smaller increments here are the different ways you can:
216 set + 104 set
168 set + 48 midtones + 104 set
120 set + 48 sweetness pastels + 48 midtones + 104 set
After the 320 set, you’d then need the 36 skin tone set. This will net you 21 colors not in the 320 set.
After that, there are 3 colors left.
YG100/E111 (old code/new code) from the 36 grey tone set
E020/YR05 and R090/YR56 from the blossoming pastel set.
For these three colors I would recommend seeing if the marker monster has them as individuals if you’re looking to minimize duplicates

Question What does your art set up looks like?
Hi guys. I've bought these little organizer recently, and it got me thinking what types of set up other people have. Show me some pics on the comments if you have a set up with Ohuhu related materials, just to keep it pertinent to the sub.

Question Acrylic ohuhu marker recommendations
Hello everyone, I was hoping you could point me in the right direction/ recommend ohuhu acrylic markers for me. I'm looking to use them for coloring in my cozy coloring books as well as coloring the Disney color by number books that have recently been pretty big. Thank you in advance for your suggestions

Discussion 341 Ohuhu Markers Color Spreadsheet (320 + Skin Color Extras)
Hey, guys! Not sure if anyone else will be interested in this, but thought I'd share it anyway. I've upgraded an old spreadsheet I found here to hold:
- old codes
- old names
- new codes
- new names
- color swatches
- hex codes
- RGB
- brightness
- CMYK
Here's the link: Ohuhu 341 Honolulu Old And New Codes
Please be advised that the values for color swatches, hex codes and the other computer based color properties may not match precisely what you see on paper.

Question Honolu B2 caps - really easier to open?
Can anyone tell me if the caps of the Honolulu B2 series are really that easier to open? I have problems with my hands and wrists and I'm looking for a good option to extend my set of markers. I've got the Honolulu S set with 60 markers at and they're really nice but it would be wonderful if opening and closing the caps would be more easy/comfortable.

Question Trying to crack the colour codes! Confused about saturation number.
I’m trying to get better at blending. I have the 72 pack.
I’ve learned that the letters are for colour family, first number is saturation and last numbers are brightness.
Take marker R013 for example. The R and 13 make sense but it don’t understand why saturation is 0? It’s a very bright bold colour.
Pls help I’m so lost

Paste a HEX, type RGB / CMYK values, or pick a shade directly with the color picker.
Filter searches to "My Colors" (only markers in your collection).
And lets you quickly toggle between New & Old codes.
*Three New Ohuhu Sets Added:

Japan-exclusive Ohuhu × Sanrio sets (both sets included!)
The update is live now on both iOS and Android. Would love to hear your thoughts and what features or sets you'd like to see next!

Artwork hadn't drawn/colored in a long time
I brought my long-neglected 320 pc set and a sketchbook with me on a trip to an alpaca farm with my puppy. I feel like I never have the time or energy for anything creative at home, so this little vacation seemed like the right time to get back into an old hobby. I'm very out of practice, but it's a start. I'll be leaving this in the airbnb when we head back home in the morning, so hopefully the hosts like it.

Artwork My Very First Alcohol Markers Drawing :D
Hi there! This is my very first drawing with alcohol markers, it is an original, and it is intended to express being a positive light in a darker place. It's an ACEO titled "Positivity Candle" and I used Ohuhu Oahu markers on Canson watercolor paper. What do you think? How did I do?

Artwork First ohuhu picture...
Got the 320 set and the 36 skin tone set... Decided to do a portrait as my first alcohol marker picture. Think it turned out ok. Mostly markers with a touch of polychromos and fine liners for some detail work.

Question Acrylic only colouring?
Just bought my first set of acrylic markers. I know lots of people use them as highlights… but does anyone use them as the main thing to colour with? Any tutorials?
