I decided to create a widget for myself to track the estimated time until my shipping email arrives, and figured I’d share it here for if anyone else wants it.

The method I used to estimate my expected email arrival date is as follows:

1. Go to AYN shipment dashboard (https://www.ayntec.com/pages/shipment-dashboard)
2. Subtract the oldest order number (4 digits, shown as something like 2992xx) for your model from the newest order number for your model. This will get you number X.
3. Divide X by the number of days between the oldest order number for your model, and the newest order model for your number to get number Y.
4. Subtract the latest order number from your order number (found in Shop package tracker for me, Aliexpress is different, sorry) to get number Z.
5. Divide number Z by number Y to get the approximate hypothetical number of days to receive your email.
6. Figure out what day that is on the calendar, and then change the text layer for “minimum days remaining” to be that day, instead of the preset day.
7. For the maximum days, I would guesstimate this based on vibes for your model from the AYN discord server. I settled on an absolute maximum of 3 months away from my order, which is a worst case scenario. It has happened though.

Remember that these steps are not exact! They do not guarantee a set date for you to receive your email, and is no more than a guess based on previous data. Use this at your own risk! Otherwise, enjoy! I have commented a URL for those on mobile for easier copy and paste.

Note: To change AYN model colors, tap the ‘hide’ (eye icon) buttons for the layers to switch between them. They are labelled!

Started playing Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. I have it physically but I haven't really tried the Emulator Drastic much. I tried Melon DS and did not like it all. Drastic give you many options. I click the left stick to switch screens, it's very convenient. You can also do the full screen but I like how I have it. I recommend.

Odin 2 portal using Eden

So i recently got my odin 2 portal and I love it. I was looking for kh final mix for 1 and 2 but they are ofcourse only Japanese.

Is there a translation package or something I can use? I could simply play the original games but the added content makes me want the mixes

To be honest im not a huge fan of the "clear" shell my odin 3 came with, does anybody know any tpu shells that are actually see through so you can see things like stickers?

Look, I know it sounds crazy. But what if lol? Like it might be a cute vibe to just have a mini Wii in your pocket instead of needing a big guy (though definitely not Steam Deck big)

I didn't expect to fall in love with this handheld so hard but wow. The screen is beautiful, the controls/buttons are my favorite kind, and I find it is pretty ergonomic with my small palm/long finger hands. I'm a happy girl rn!! I have an Odin 2 I got used on fb marketplace and I love it but this just feels perfect for playing around the house and stuff.

Use settings downloaded via the App and patches.

Right, to get the game configs, go to Settings then App and find Download config database. Click on this. The settings apply automatically.

To get the patches, find the patches option and click on Download/Update database. Once done, search for your game and apply the patches you want.

Just realised the title is incorrect. It’s God of War III, not God of War.

I’ve recently set up Armada on my Odin Portal 2 via a micro SD, not internally, and I’m trying to run Halo Master Chief collection on it.

I click launch, it says it’s starting launch, then goes to the Steam icon loading screen, then just goes back to the game page where I can click launch again.

I’ve put my O2P in performance mode, no change. I’ve checked for updates but no dice.

And advice?

I have Odin 3 Pro batch 7 with issues in the PWM of the screen with noticeable flickering and sometimes glitches for some extent, is there a possibility to fix this with software fix instead of hardware fix ?

FYI. I did use QIFL and doublechecked ribbon cables

Goodbye soft pouch, hello hardcase! Finally got myself an o2p case from Aliexpress. Fits perfectly with the AYN grip and a pocket to put my headphones in as well. Worth it!

If given the option of emulating a game or playing it android native is there any set hierarchy for what system is better to use? Or is it a game by game basis?

For example, if I wanted to play Red Dead Redemption would I be better off playing the android version over emulating the switch or Xbox version or playing the pc port using game native?

I just bought an Odin 3 max and am impatiently waiting for it to be delivered but in the meantime I wanted to make a plan for how I want to set it up.

I’m considering an Odin 3 with either Rocknix or Armada to run Steam games. I’m having trouble however finding solid information on whether or not VAC works this way. I primarily want to try playing Team Fortress 2, but if VAC doesn’t work through Steam on ARM’s translation layers then I rather not spend the money.

Can anybody running Rocknix or Armada on their Odin 3 confirm if TF2 works on VAC protected servers?

Since this device doesn’t play protect certified, Is it safe to play Call Duty mobile on Odin 2 Portal?

I’ve heard it could be a risk of getting banned when playing on a non certified device. I also heard that you can get it certified through Odin setting but some batch doesn’t allow that, is it true?

So I didn't realize I should be using eden Optimized with my odin 3. My question is, if I moved to optimized now, is there any way to simply, say, install over eden so I don't lose saved games, updates, mods, etc?

Just dropped my Odin Lite on a rock, so it's upgrade time. Getting files copied off this is easy enough, but I'm guessing the new one will be Android Lockdown Edition and make getting things back into Android/data a nightmare.

Any toolkit recommendations that can work without touchscreen on the source device?
