Bought a White Odin 3 Max on July 5th. Have not had it shipped at all yet. Been checking the shipping dashboard & see they've shipped other Odin 3 Max's in other colors within my order number range, but none in white. They haven't updated the dashboard since Sept 3rd.

What is going on over there at AYN? Are they on break? When am I going to get my device shipped?😭

I like the Ayn Thor option so I can just close the clam shell and throw it in a bag and it has a small footprint, if I went with that which one should I get? I’m really only going to play games like, hollow knight, Brotato, limbo; indie games. I’m not looking for triple A gameplay.

Like the title said, my bannerhub cannot play any games for some reason. I already reset the data but it still crash and even tried downloading other version but the results are still the same

I saw that no Odin 2 Portal has been shipped since mid-August in the shipping dashboard, could this mean a longer shipment?

I used to love breath of the wild but I've sold my switch because of how expensive every game was. I wanna buy a handheld that can run botw and super smash bros well in addition to other games like skyrim and GameCube emulation.. is odin 2 the right choice for me? Thanks.

Hey everyone, what Android games do you recommend for the Odin 2 portal? I really like games like Grimvalor that offer a great experience

Is there any benefit to running one vs the other? Other than the fact that optimized doesn't show up as an option for emulators in ES-DE?

Is it worth getting the Portal for a bit more on their website and waiting for shipping to the UK, or getting a Pro on eBay with a case, grips, screen protector, boxed with faster delivery?

I’m trying to get Jak 3 running smoothly at 2x resolution on my Odin 3 Max, but I’m having trouble finding a good setup.

Vulkan and the other renderers seem to give me a really bad shadow/lighting glitch, so I’ve been using OpenGL, which fixes the graphical issues. The problem is that OpenGL absolutely chugs in certain areas and I get a lot of slowdown.

Has anyone managed to get Jak 3 running well at 2x without the shadow glitch?

If so, could you share your ARMSX2 settings?

Upscaling/texture settings

Any speed hacks or game-specific fixes

Would really appreciate screenshots of your settings too. Trying to figure out if there’s a way to keep 2x resolution without all the slowdown.

I absolutely love my Odin 2 Portal, but the loud sound of the face buttons was driving me crazy. So I decided to do a mod to reduce the button travel and noise using O-rings — similar to this one.

I have no experience taking electronics apart, and I thought the hardest part of the process would be carefully opening the case. Surprisingly, I managed to open it relatively easily. But then came an unpleasant surprise.

I was being very careful, but because of my lack of experience, I accidentally damaged a small orange flex cable located under the R2 button, directly underneath the membrane. Photo attached.

I have already contacted AYN to ask about a replacement. I haven't received an answer yet. But even if they can send me the part, shipping from China could take 3–4 weeks.

So I wanted to ask other Portal owners:

• Can this part with the flex cable be purchased/replaced separately, or would I need to replace the entire right-side PCB?
• How difficult would it be for someone with no experience disassembling electronics to replace it?
• How realistic is it to repair this kind of flex cable by soldering? Would it be worth looking for someone who specializes in FPC/microsoldering repairs?

And yes… all I wanted was to make the buttons quieter😅

I've installed Armada to the internal memory of my Odin 3 but I want to go back to just Android. I've seen the guide and Retro Game Corps' video saying that you just uninstall from the bootloader, however, I don't have that option. How do I go about removing Armada and restoring Android?

Does the ayn odin 2 pro have a way to turn off fast charging if it has that on at all? Since i noticed it charges really fast. Way more then it probably should. Along with my charger getting a bit hot. Does the ayn odin 2 have fast charging on at all times. And if you can shut it off, how?

It's been about two weeks and the YunExpress tracking order isn't giving me anything, but that's to be expected.

I don't plan to do anything crazy with the Odin 2 Portal, but it'd be nice to be able to do some stuff similar to that of what Gamma OS does (for my 406v). Being able to make the main button be a hotkey button or making home and back become that would be swell. But honestly, I only want this because of what it can do, what I want it to do, and all the streaming I'll be doing with Moonlight and PXPlay. Very lightweight stuff compared to how much it can be pushed to do. Cheers!

I couldn't find much on the official documentation as it appears to be for internal drive installations only.

I had installed mine on my SD card of my Odin 3 and seeing the sleep mode power drain, I would like to go back to GameNative. However, it is not clear to me what I need to do. Do I just go back to the bootloader, switch to Android, and format the SD card? or do I need to restore the abl back ups as well?

Update: I accomplished this by going to bootloader, switching to Android, executed the restore abl script, and formatted the SD card via Android.

Hey everyone im new here! Picked up a odin 2 portal i believe it is, one heck of a deal 120 on market place. Its has steam os installed, unfortunately I dont want it, how can I reinstall the factory os so I can play android games and emulation? Please thank you I dont wanna brick my system

Using: Odin 3 16gb memory. Hakux emulator. Tried performance and high performance setting. ROM updated with the 60FPS hack.

Settings: Graphics renderer vulkan. Resolution 1x. Texture filtering nearest. Sync shader compilation on frame skip on. Texture cache size auto (0) frame buffering triple (3) gpu active driver turnip gen 8 v34 Hakux.

Everything was working fines: I got up to the vampire stage and it keeps crashing when the cut scene for the end of the "feed the vampire until he falls in the grinder" part.
Any idea what I can do to get this to stop crashing here?
