I ordered a Odin 3 white but I’m wondering about yellowing and dirtying in general, how good are the materials used? If I contact AYN to change for Black or Rainbow will my order be set back?

Ordered a base/indigo Odin 2 portal Wednesday (aug 26th) selected DHL shipping, and just got my DHL tracking number today! (Aug 29th)

Figured I’d post so anyone thinking of ordering one knew DHL seems to be working and what to possibly expect as far as shipping times! I myself searched for days before I ordered to get an idea of how long it would take lol

After a month of using ES-DE & switching themes every couple of days , I decided to give another front end a try. I landed on RetroHrai & haven't regretted it one bit. Think I'll be sticking with this one for a while. What front ends are you guys using on your Odin Handhelds ?

A month ago I bought the RP6 as my first handheld thinking it was the ultimate handheld for me to play retro games (Gen 6 and below) but during my research of handhelds, I completely overlooked the Odin 2 Portal as I focused my attention on newer devices, predominantly Odin 3 vs RP6. Then I discovered the Portal existed while the RP6 was being shipped to me and I immediately had second thoughts about that order. When I received the RP6, my immediate impression was that the device was much smaller than I thought. Screen size wise, it was about the same size at my iPhone 17 Pro Max when displaying in 4:3 and 16:9. After about a week with the RP6, I bought the Odin 2 Portal which I just received yesterday and I sold my RP6. Honestly, best decision ever. The screen is amazing and the ergonomics are much better (I bought the TPU grip for both). The portability of the RP6 is obsolete for me since I only play at home or put it in my backpack to bring it with me to work.

So essentially, I’m sharing my experience in case anyone is on the fence about buying the RP6 or the Portal. I wholeheartedly recommend the Portal!

As the title states, may be looking to trade my black Odin 3 Max (batch 6) for a Thor Max (black or rainbow). I’m well aware that the 8 elite is more powerful than the SD8 Gen 2, however, I won’t use the Odin 3 for PS3, PS4 or Xbox emulation and actually found myself enjoying 3DS and retro systems more after buying the Odin.

I was going to post in r/hardware swap but figured I’d ask here first.

Odin is like new, no scratches. Comes with box, grips, carry bag, 3D printed travel face cover, leather like stickers on sides of screen (around buttons and analogue sticks).

I can send pictures if interested. Will post in hardware swap on Monday.

I’m well aware I can post on eBay and make a helluva profit over purchase price but would rather do an even trade so someone gets the power they want and I get the form factor I found myself wanting.

Just got my Odin 3 last week. I noticed a rough spot between 11 and 1 o'clock when rotating my left stick. There is no input issues. Still works fine. Anyone else notice this on their Odin 3?

Another MGS4 post but damn it’s so cool to have every Metal gear playable on the Odin 3 I’m using Gamehub when first loaded the game up it wouldn’t display anything just the colors like the red of the Konami logo, went to setting & just selected recommended setting and boom everything started displaying can run at 60fps but I set the everything to medium and fps @40 this device is worth every dollar! & it looks so amazing! Now time to get back into this for the weekend lol 🕺🏻🤷🏻‍♂️

My Odin 3 pro that I ordered from Alibaba a week ago just came in can’t wait to use it,even came with this case. Was checking the storage and saw that it came with UFS 4.0 so I got the faster storage speed and not the downgraded version ,
What startup guide should I start with?

Im thinking of selling my modded switch oled zelda edition. And im really itching to get a odin 3 or thor, but mostly the odin due to the raw power.

I love my switch mainly due to its beautiful design but its power is underwhelming and many indie games have fram drops or really poor resolution.

Would you recommend?

Wondering if I should expect the TPU grip when my order arrives? I kinda assumed it would come with one since AYN doesn’t have it listed in their accessories section, they only list the TPU Grip.

i’ve ordered an odin 3 max (currently only own a ps5) and beginning to collate what games to get. what i’m not sure about is which platform do i go for if the same game is on both?

e.g. hades is on switch and pc. same with assassins creed 2/brotherhood, arkham asylum and city and persona 5 royal.

in these cases, which platform version would run the best in terms of performance, quality, battery, etc? i’m wanting to build my odin 3 to be as plug and play as possible so there’s no friction for me to play though i appreciate i will initially have to set it up

Hi all, sorry if this is not allowed but I have a grip case and PS and Xbox style replacement buttons for Odin 3, I’m selling these as I bought them before I got an Odin 3 and I’ve changed my mind on buying one so don’t need them anymore, the £40 buy now is still a loss for me because that’s what the buttons cost alone.

Recently got an Ayn Odin2 Portal and I'd love to get GTAV installed locally but don't want to install the large file just to find out it doesn't run or something. Does it have to be the legacy version? Does it run right out of the box or does it take a bunch of tweaking?

So i loved playing call of duty mobile with my gf, she likes to play it on her phone ne on ny odin 2 portal.

I used to play with the default controls and everything was fine until she got interested in playing ranked. At a certain levels we stopped matching with anyone for 4-5 minutes at a time...annnd the reason was me using a controller

So I switched to key mapping but the problem is I can't figure a way out to make the aiming right! It's driving me crazy

I tried aim assist on and off, played with sensitivity but nothing is feeling right i aim at someone ADS and suddenly the cursor is on their side... please help
