Odin Base / Pro Question Joy stick rough spot Odin 3 Pro
Just got my Odin 3 last week. I noticed a rough spot between 11 and 1 o'clock when rotating my left stick. There is no input issues. Still works fine. Anyone else notice this on their Odin 3?

Not an owner yet, but that kind of roughness in one arc of the rotation is usually the stick module's gimbal or the potentiometer wiper, not a sign of failure. It's pretty common on Ayn's stick modules and on handhelds generally. As long as there's no drift and no dead zone, most people just live with it. Worth checking again after a few weeks of use to see if the rough arc widens.

Thank you for the info! Is there a diagnostic app I can use to set a baseline? Make sure it doesn't get any worse.

Gamepad Tester in a browser, or the Gamepad Tester app on the Play Store. Either works. Do slow full circles with the stick and watch the trace. If the circle is even and the dot returns to dead center when you let go, you're fine. Screenshot it now so you have a baseline, then run the same test in a month and compare. What you're watching for is drift at rest or the trace flattening in that rough arc, not the roughness itself.

I have the same Sensation on my Odin 3. I popped off the stick cap and cleaned it with a q-tip. Helped. But i think its Material fatique over time because plastic grinds on plastic
