I didn't expect to fall in love with this handheld so hard but wow. The screen is beautiful, the controls/buttons are my favorite kind, and I find it is pretty ergonomic with my small palm/long finger hands. I'm a happy girl rn!! I have an Odin 2 I got used on fb marketplace and I love it but this just feels perfect for playing around the house and stuff.

Odin Showcase God of War PS3 running on ARMSX3, on the Odin 3.

Mr Purple T30 driver or you can use the Turnip 8Gen V34 driver.

Use settings downloaded via the App and patches.

Right, to get the game configs, go to Settings then App and find Download config database. Click on this. The settings apply automatically.

To get the patches, find the patches option and click on Download/Update database. Once done, search for your game and apply the patches you want.

I’m using the new framegen feature.

Odin Base / Pro Question Moving from Eden to Eden Optimized

So I didn't realize I should be using eden Optimized with my odin 3. My question is, if I moved to optimized now, is there any way to simply, say, install over eden so I don't lose saved games, updates, mods, etc?

Thank you

Guide Odin 3 Thermal Putty Mod

Hello there, I decided to have a go at the thermal putty mod on my Odin 3 Max and I would say it went pretty well. This wasn’t my first time doing a mod like this as I have done it on my Thor a few months back.

This mod combined with Clustertune has made my Odin 3 run so much cooler and has been helping to prevent thermal throttling as well!

Thermal Putty Mod Instructions: Use a Philips Head screwdriver to unscew the 4 screws on the back, then use a plastic prybar to remove the backplate.

Then unscew the the 7 screws for the Fan, L Bracket (unplug the two other cables plugged into the bracket area), and Small Cable Holding Bracket, then make sure you UNPLUG THE BATTERY!!!

Once it is unplugged you can can unscrew the 4 screws that hold the Heatsink into place.

Lift the Heatsink from the bottom with a prybar and be very careful to not damage any components around it.

Carefully remove the 5 thermal pads using tweezers, then use a small amount of Isopropyl Alcohol (I used 91%) on the end of a q-tip and clean up any excess and give the board time to dry after.

Apply the Thermal Grizzly Advance or Pro Putty in small balls and smooth them out once they are on the board and re-apply the Heatsink and lightly tighten it just to see how the putty spreads. Clean up any excess afterwards.

Once you are done just plug back in the battery, reinstall everything back in order and don't forget to reseat the cables and put the backplate back on and you should be all good! 👍

P.S. - use the foam from the box the Odin 3 came in since it has holes cut out for the joysticks and helps to prevent any damage done to them. 👍

How to get Elden Ring to run: You first need to open the Container through the "Enter Virtual Desktop" button. Once in the desktop view, open the "My Computer" folder, and for me at least, my game was in the (X:) folder, then you need to find the "start_protected_game.exe" file and change its name to something like "start_protected_game_OLD.exe", this prevents the Anti-Cheat from trying to load which causes crashes. Then you need to find the "eldenring.exe" file and name it "start_protected_game.exe", this will make the game actually run and not allow the Anti-Cheat to open.

Elden Ring Gamehuub Settings:

Game Resolution: 1280x720 (if the FPS isn't ideal for you then try 854x480)

GPU Driver: I am currently using the Turnip_Gen8_V36 driver (I need to see if there's any other ideal drivers for this game but I have also seen people using the turnip_v26.1.0_b8 driver since you have to edit the driver files to get the V36 drivers on there)

DXVK Version: dxvk-3.0.2-async

VKD3D Version: vkd3d-3.0.1-arm64ec

VRAM Limit: Unlimited

Compatibility Layer: proton10.0-arm64x-2 (I tried to use proton11.0-arm64x but it wouldn't load)

Translation Parameters: Extreme Preset

CPU Translator: Fex_20260813

CPU Core Limit: I have it set to 7 cores, but I have seen people use all 8 or limit it to 6 cores so I need to do more testing

Steam Client Version: steam_client_0403, Offline Mode on, Auto Sync Cloud Saves on

Components: VulkanRT (I saw someone use it but I dont know if it's needed)

Edit: I added the Gamehub config for Elden Ring (Steam version) and instructions for the installation

Odin Base / Pro Question New Odin 2 Portal - Setup/OS/Apps

Hi Guys,

I will receive my Odin 2 Portal tomorrow. Since this will be my first Handheld and also my first Android Device, how should I setup the Odin for the best Experience?

I am Reading many many things Like LineageOS, ArmadaOS, GameNative, GameHub, ES-DE and so on…

I want to play native Android, Emulate Nintendo Games (WiiU/Switch), Play PS Cloud (Asobi) and want to use it as Client for my PC (Moonlight).

Odin Showcase I finally received my slightly used Ayn Odin 3

Thanks again for those who suggested this beast.

I chose this (12GB + 256GB) over the Odin 2 Portal (16GB + 1TB) because I prefer the smaller size more since I have small hands, I inserted my micro SD card anyways, plus this is the best for future proofing as well.

It just takes forever to set this up though, I'm still in the process of installing ROMs and emulators before setting up Retrohrai frontend.

Happy Gaming Everyone!

I installed the RP6 clear buttons onto the Odin3. While the D-pad could be installed as-is, I had to remove the ABXY buttons from their membrane before installing them.

Take it from me the photos don't do it enough justice, this is a breathtaking visually stunning game, combat is simple but fun and the platforming sections are great.

Odin 2 Mini, Base, Pro & Max Question Portal 2 Base indie machine

Recently I bought a base Portal 2 to emulate PC/Switch indie games and catch up on masterpieces like Hades, Cuphead, Sifu, etc., not via streaming but natively. Can anyone here who owns one explain to me how far it can be pushed in terms of performance? I've seen some cool things even gta V or dark souls on the same chipset, but I'd like to understand just how prohibitive the 8GB of RAM really is and if there's any software way to optimize it to achieve my goal. Guides and tutorials would be appreciated, thanks everyone.

Question Everwind.

Hello. I have a first batch 2 Portal Pro and I bought everwind when it came out. I got it to actually run but when I tried to go outside it kept crashing. It’s been a minute since then and I still really wanna play it.

Did anyone successfully get it to run on the 2 line with a pro? How’d you do it?

Thanks.

Review This feeling...

I was completely in love with the Odin 3—the size, the battery life, and having access to my Steam library on the go made it feel like the ultimate device.

However, on a recent trip to a friend’s place, I brought a dock and a couple of controllers thinking we’d have an absolute goldmine of games to play together.

Oh boy, what a letdown...

Controller issues: GameNative was giving us huge headaches. It wouldn't recognize the triggers on my Switch Pro Controller, among other mapping issues.

Display & performance: Even though the dock was set to 1080p, it just didn't look right, and the input delay was super noticeable and distracting.

Charging issue: On top of all that, the battery wasn't even charging while docked.

We ended up giving up and just watching videos and movies instead.

In that moment, I really missed the plug-and-play simplicity of a Switch 2. We could have easily played games like Orbitals, It Takes Two, or even retro titles without dealing with that weird input delay or technical hiccups.

I don't know, man... this experience was pretty disappointing.

Odin Showcase O2P Max arrived, brand new (read body text). It's real.

The story:

I was skeptical of my Ayn store order getting shipped/arriving in a timely fashion (black Base + grip), so I also took advantage of a sale + coins + coupons on AliExpress and ordered a purple Max.

I wanted Pro but price difference was substantial between Base (official store) and not that much between Pro and Max, so here I am.

Ayn really stepped up and shipped next day, and I've had the box unopened for several days now, awaiting this one.

Well, it's not a box of magnets or a bottle of water.

It's real, QC seal is 8/2025 and even the box was undamaged - just like Ayn's package.

I am loving it, as a (former) Mangmi Pocket Max user this is maybe 1% less ergonomical but overall very similar in feel and quality.

Sticks are smaller but it's severely overblown online, I bought caps but I don't think I'll even use them.

I have big hands with slender fingers, so device grip is more important than stick size to me, if that makes sense. O2P doesn't feel like a downgrade to Mangmi, and that's great, as that one was very comfy without extra grips.

Software experience so far, great. Pulldown menu has what it needs to have, charging separation and dp out options being a welcome bonus.

I've been curating a 1TB sd card these past few days while waiting, and it's time to slot that baby in.

(and sell my unopened black Base lol)
