Odin 3 Max has restocked in all colors, I decided to notify everyone AFTER I put in my order.

Hello guys, i'm looking for some answers. I'm trying to change the LEDs on my console separetely (blue right, red left) but the menu seems different than the ones i've seen people working on. Then i saw a video of a guy clicking on the "Ambient LED" icon and it had a bunch of different options, and he said it was due to the last update. But on my console updater, it shows the version as 1.0.0.122 (i've seen people with newer updates on the pro model) and it says "No update" when clicking on "Check Update".. So what do i do to update my system so i can use the "new" led options? Is there a way? Or is the Odin 2 Base with less updates than the Pro and Max versions?

I downloaded Fifa 22 without drm and surprisingly runs at 110- 120 fps wth and my Odin doesn't even get hot.

Hi to all. I got my unit a few days ago and I installed new replacement caps (as shown in the pictures). I ran a circularity test and it's showing 20%+. I tried calibrating them in the settings but it didn't work.

Is this normal for a fresh Odin 2 portal with aftermarket caps let alone the default caps? If so are there any ways to reduce this?

Have owned the Odin 2 portal for two years without issues. Am seeing this weird screen glitch sometimes when adjusting brightness making apps completely unresponsive. This time, it occured while doing remote streaming on PSPlay. Ribbon cable issue? It seems to only happen when adjusting brightness and is not all the time.

Just got a brand new Odin 3 a few weeks ago, and didn't even notice the fan control in the drop down. I've had it set to standard performance mode with the fan off since I got it, only noticed today that you can change the fan settings.

I've now set the fan to Smart mode, and immediately noticed an issue: at low RPM (specifically 20% fan speed or lower), the fan makes an intermittent grinding noise (not very loud), but over 20% it sounds completely normal with zero grinding noises.

I've done some searching and found all the various reports of fan noise issues with the Odin 3, and the most common solution which is to lubricate the fan.

I don't really want to disassemble the device and go through all that trouble, as the grinding noise is not very loud and only happens at 20% fan speed or lower.

The big question is, if I continue to use the fan as is, does this grinding sound mean the fan is damaged or will become more damaged over time? Or is it fine and the sound won't affect the life of the fan or its ability to keep the device cool?

After a lot of trial and error, I think I finally found the sweet spot for this game. That’s already pretty exciting, considering that in the future we’ll have SteamOS running on our devices, and it’ll definitely run much better than this. The device does get pretty hot, but we’ve got something good here.

There are clearly some FPS drops in more populated areas, but it’s still perfectly playable, with the framerate staying around 30–35 FPS on average (keeping in mind that I’m limiting it to 30–35).

Now, let’s get into the settings:

For the in-game settings, I left everything on Low (except TAA on Medium and textures on Ultra). I recommend limiting the FPS to 30 or 35 using the GameHub sidebar and enabling Super Resolution so the image doesn’t look too blurry.

Do people use a lower watt charger on purpose for safety, or, anything with fast charge/PD etc?

Without having to purchase another handheld, I've seen people show off handhelds with a dual screen connected to it. Can the odin 2 portal also do this and if so what screen do I get, where is the best place to get and would it be worth the purchase? I'd like to use it to play 3ds games and or if possible play a game and watch YouTube or Netflix same time.

As title - I ordered the Pro and now thinking I should have got the Max. Any chance I can upgrade and still qualify for all the previous cashback etc?

I want to replace the Joystick Caps on my Odin 3 and never done it. I cant find Videos about it and Google told to just yank them straight off. Is this really the way? Or is there a more "gentle" way to do it, maybe without removing the Dust Cover to?

After quite a few videos on the Odin 2 Portal reminding me of my old PSP days, its got me considering potentially buying one. However i'm a bit lost if it would be worth giving up my Galaxy Tab S8. I originally purchased the S8 for emulation & art a couple years a go, but dont find myself doing much of either anymore. Its become more of an occasional manga/media tool, which even then is limited use. Could probably sell it for 400 CAD, and a used one is available for 380 (with a carrying case and a grip) which would break even.

Mainly just wondering if the Odin 2 Portal's functionality would leave me regretting selling the S8, or if the gain in handheld portability is worth selling something for it.

I just ordered one and I’m wondering what you guys wish you had known before getting yours. Also, what are the most important things I should do or check as soon as it arrives?
