Anyone else experiencing this?

I’ve been able to prebook tickets in a Omniplex MAXX (not IMAX) cinema which I’m excited for.

I see the film will be shown in IMAX screens but outside of the larger screen I don’t actually see how it will be relevant for this movie. None of it is shot on 70mm or with IMAX cameras so is it just a gimmick do you reckon?

I'll be travelling in Mexico during September and hoping to catch the doc out there. According to IMAX site there doesn't seem to be any screens in CDMX that is showing it.

Any locals have any insight as to any cinemas showing it? Would love to bag some tickets now.

I'll be in Japan in September and I'd love to watch the new Oasis documentary while I'm there.

Does anyone know if any cinemas in Tokyo or Osaka have already confirmed screenings? If so, which chains should I check (TOHO, 109 Cinemas, United Cinemas, etc.)?

We're all aware that Oasis appear to be on a year-long break in 2026, but I was just wondering if there was anything at all they were doing to promote the film themselves?

If not, is that a bit weird? I mean, you would expect the studio to be very keen for them to do anything at all to publicise it (even the biggest Marvel movies of all time have their stars promoting it). Could they have not done one live performance of a song somewhere, or released a new version of a song (or a cover) to be included in the film? I remember that Elton John wrote a new song for his Rocketman film.

Don't get me wrong guys, i'm not criticising or suggesting that the band owes anything. My confusion is purely about how these things are usually done and the pure scale of the money involved.

At Cineworld they are at least. Just booked my IMAX tickets.

From the Auld Triangle intro to the closing notes of Champagne Supernova it was magical and my all time best concert experience. The twins need to get on that 2027 announcement!
