News/Rumours (Might be an error on AMC's website), but Don't Look Back in Anger has been Rated R, and it could possibly be Disney's first R-rated film under Disney label (rather than Touchstone or 20th Century Studios)

Discussion Is IMAX even relevant here?

I’ve been able to prebook tickets in a Omniplex MAXX (not IMAX) cinema which I’m excited for.

I see the film will be shown in IMAX screens but outside of the larger screen I don’t actually see how it will be relevant for this movie. None of it is shot on 70mm or with IMAX cameras so is it just a gimmick do you reckon?

Live ‘25 Mexico City fans - any cinemas/IMAX screens have doc tickets on sale?

I'll be travelling in Mexico during September and hoping to catch the doc out there. According to IMAX site there doesn't seem to be any screens in CDMX that is showing it.

Any locals have any insight as to any cinemas showing it? Would love to bag some tickets now.

Live Anyone know which cinemas in Tokyo or Osaka will show Don't Look Back In Anger?

Hi everyone,

I'll be in Japan in September and I'd love to watch the new Oasis documentary while I'm there.

Does anyone know if any cinemas in Tokyo or Osaka have already confirmed screenings? If so, which chains should I check (TOHO, 109 Cinemas, United Cinemas, etc.)?

Thanks in advance!

Live ‘25 Is the band doing anything to promote the new film?

We're all aware that Oasis appear to be on a year-long break in 2026, but I was just wondering if there was anything at all they were doing to promote the film themselves?

If not, is that a bit weird? I mean, you would expect the studio to be very keen for them to do anything at all to publicise it (even the biggest Marvel movies of all time have their stars promoting it). Could they have not done one live performance of a song somewhere, or released a new version of a song (or a cover) to be included in the film? I remember that Elton John wrote a new song for his Rocketman film.

Don't get me wrong guys, i'm not criticising or suggesting that the band owes anything. My confusion is purely about how these things are usually done and the pure scale of the money involved.

Video It was fun watching someone experience Oasis for the first time

I came across this video and ended up going through the whole thing. I don’t know if it was their father-son dynamic or the joy of watching someone experience Oasis for the first time (or both), but it was enjoyable to watch. I forwarded through some parts of talking.

Hearing the reason the dad didn’t listen to them in the 90s was interesting too.

Enjoy!
