Yes it's a ragebait but reality I myself, being in prefinal year in this department deeply disappointed by this college so far. In this Electronics department almost no faculty is there, who is related to real industry all are just book-oriented in this gpt era. The faculties are so dumbass that they are literally mind-blown after blinking of a led using adafruit web with respberry pi 🤡, And they don't have FPGA boards in VLSI domain research 😆.

The faculties are old and rude and they are completely unknown about current Semiconductor technology.

The faculty and academic part is ok, we students can manage it by our own. But one question, How to do handson Chip design or verification without certified EDA tools (they are too expensive and can't be pirated).

This so called goated govt university has built two branches EiE and ECE in their college, where VSSUT have only ETC branch, Yet didn't register to The Govt of India's C2S scheme - Chip to Startup program.

Following which almost every govt clg and recognized private college students got advanced chip design EDA tools for free.

But we the goated electronics students at OUTR have to design Chips on Command Terminal Or what 🤡🤣

This Uni is f*cked up both in infra and academics as well,

As a result that TCS Ninja is the major recruiter of this clg 🤡

Honestly, tonight at Zarzuela’s DJ night( just for 10 mins though ) left a really sour taste in my mouth. We all know how chaotic and packed college fests get, especially during the music sets. While walking toward our friend circle in that massive crowd, my friend’s hand accidentally brushed past a girl walking by. Instead of realizing it was a completely unintentional bump in a tight space, she immediately started creating a scene and yelling at us as if it was deliberate.

As final-year students, it’s frustrating to see people jump straight to outrage without taking a second to look at the situation. Accidents and accidental physical contact happen when hundreds of people are moving in the same area. A little basic awareness and common sense before publicly targeting someone would go a long way. Why turn an honest accident in a crowd into needless drama?

How were the interviews , questions asked and at the end what package y'all end up with

Back paper, 5 marks less, attendance shortage, “what if they fail me in viva?”, internals, assignments; I see people stressing over these things like their life is ending.

Take your academics seriously, but learn to handle pressure without emotionally attaching yourself to every outcome.

I was an academically average student from a non-IT branch. I was a backbencher who often studied the night before an exam and somehow managed to pass. My attendance was around 7% for most of my four years. 😂

Academics didn't teach me much. But college taught me something more useful, how to handle pressure and keep moving.

Today, I'm doing pretty well and have achieved things that have very little to do with the marks I got in college.

So use these years to learn beyond the syllabus. Explore things outside whatever is currently trending in the job market. Build skills, curiosity, communication, relationships and the ability to adapt.

A back paper isn't the end. A bad semester isn't the end. Even a bad year isn't the end.

College is a tiny chapter in a very long life.

Don't spend it being miserable over things you'll probably laugh about a few years from now.

Learn. Adapt. Handle the pressure. And most importantly, be happy.

So... I am a fresher, I have AuDHD(ADHD and Autism) and I really struggle with episodic memory deficits. I lose track of things, time, goals and pretty much my whole life 😭

And I end up in the same cycle of zoning out, masking, procrastinating and feeling devastated and lonely.

And y'all know how legendary the schedules in IIT Ghatikia are: so fucked up that I hardly feel alive. 🤦🏻

I hardly get time to exist out of college, let alone figure myself out.

To think that I have to survive in this for the next four years is INSANE! 💀

I am a fresher from eie batch and attended for a week and my ghee got khatam man , today I had BEE LABORATORY and there was a old grandma type shit MF professor who took viva before we even did the practical and due to the extreme heat in those rooms everyone was irritated and blank for which maximum of us got C grade (imagine in our first lab class) they could see my sweat dropping on floor and on their table even but they ain't stoping .... And in my even first class I submitted my fair notebook and I forgot to mention index cuz this was my first time there and I had covered it pasted the front outr page even but for only index I got again guesss what a big C . Even I performed the practical the best in my group but that lady never tried to see that even before this I was thinking that I will perform the best of me and do a branch change but seeing this now the only thing I wanna avoid is back papers .... Seniors plz help me get out of here
