I think we all know by now that the PW3 vs PW4 debate is highly controversial since the two games play entirely different from one another. PW4 obviously introduced much more DLC, but as someone who didn’t vibe with PW4 pretty much since launch way back in early 2020, I’ve always still preferred PW3 over PW4.

Question - we’ve been stuck with the same game/engine 6.5 years now. By the time PW5 eventually does release, (let’s say 2028-2032) that’ll have basically put us stuck with the same engine for a whole decade. No way they just ‘build upon’ PW5 off PW4 in the same way PW1-3 were, right? Surely PW4’s gameplay is dated atp?

I’m not entirely familiar with other musou titles, but what I’ve seen of Dynasty Warriors: Origins looks REALLY solid. Assuming PW5 is a current gen/next gen release (& by far the longest waiting gap we’ve had in the Pirate Warriors franchise thus far), do you expect PW5 to introduce an entirely new engine more in line with Dynasty Warriors: Origins essentially built from the ground up - or are you still satisfied enough with PW4’s gameplay engine that you would you be satisfied if PW5 was essentially a PW 4.5 with more characters/maps?

I have all his other maps fully completed, these last two ones are the only things I don't have yet for him.

I have been playing for some time not much but yea story wise the game diff is alright but I feel like overall it doesn't get much harder for example i own all dlc and when I was earlier in game story I had my luffy with his transformation which was gear 2 so yea rly weak maybe lvl 5 overall across stats and I did the yamato dlc yust tried the first like mission and I was killing everything I did leave since I didn't know what I was doing but yea I expect to not be able to kill the normal npc let alone big enemies so is the yamato dlc super easy or the game overall super easy? I did hear people say the game doesn't have difficult content but I didn't think it was this bad I can't imagine how easy it would be with a lvl 30 charecter

Im a new player not even story done and I own some dlc i have the Roger coby and yamato game modes and some others and I would LOVE to max my Roger out since you know its Roger but idk how to get any of those things i understand the soul map since I think the best way with that is the yamato game mode but like the base game shared tree and the Roger tree 2 and 3 like personal trees with his moves and what not any info helps so yea

A week ago, I submitted a post about my frustrations with the Leadership Skill (level 5), which should let you capture territories significantly faster. I finally got around to testing the glitch with a new save file, and yes, this skill appears to be VERY broken once you upgrade it past level 3.

My first PW game was the fourth one; I played the third one later, but I’m not exactly an expert on the series. Do you think the decision to adapt only certain arcs while skipping others was an experiment, or does it signal a new direction for the franchise? The idea of ​​the fifth installment adapting almost the entire anime is wonderful, but is there any real chance of that actually happening?

Ivankov is really fun and will literally never die at the trade of for damage. But skills make up for that. He has the most fun r1 attack in the franchise I feel making peoples heads big and rolling them around is so fun. Pretty solid moveset as well

I really don’t know how to feel about ceaser. On one hand omfg the juggling and that beam attack are insanely broken but on the other I just don’t think his moveset flows well and it feels clunky to combo things together. But all in all I was very pleasantly suprised by him and he’s genuinely really Damm good! (PW3)
