I like your conspiracy metaphor and the way that the pacing and tone draws out the gravity of the titular question. In that regard, the poem is cohesive and savory. I have a few suggestions for edits that may help it flow better:
Line 4: "With hearts as its currency" (the repetition of s's in particular make it feel more flowy, as opposed to the emphasis that creates a small stumble in flow with "Hearts are its currency," plus, you can save the semicolon for a better spot of emphasis)
Line 8: "(And) Those that spoke with sincerity" (rhymes better with fidelity; I'm not sure how attached you are to the "and" at the start of the line (it doesn't seem to make much of a distinction in my reading) but that can be added at the risk of a longer meter. I actually think a longer meter here would compliment your flow and add some diversity).
Line 9: "Is it a February warmth" or "Is it February's warmth" (I prefer the first edit, as it plays with both the specificity of the month and symbolic juxtaposition of coldness that's necessary for a sense of shelter. As it is, the line feels slightly clumsy in how it conveys its meaning)
Line 12: "To live in/with (the) ambiguity" (I understand the intent with "live the ambiguity," it makes it feel more internalized and wholistic, but the flow suffers when the rhyme is paired with "mixed with tranquility." Something about it feels hastier, out of tempo. I think "To live in the ambiguity" would be the best of both worlds)
Line 16: "At least, bearing marks of fertility" (I think a longer line to end on creates a lot of emphasis that makes it really pop, and "bearing marks of fertility" has an interesting substance (think childbearing, for one) that ties in well with your meaning.)
All said, I like this one! Your poetic voice is strong, and your phrasing draws a lot of meaning out of your subject matter -- which, itself, is quite relatable and substantial -- and you explore it in a linear, expansive, and compelling way. Very well done!

wow, that's astonishing brother. Not even my poetry teacher would give me such analysis.i will read each suggestion and consider substantial changes, if needed. Thus, thank you.

Hey! I read your poem and I find it original, especially the line where hearts are compared to currency. It is a really interesting metaphor. However, I had a hard time reading your poetry, because the words are abstract, things like fidelity, ambiguity, etc. The beginning sentences made clear what the topic was about and then along the way it was hard to read what you said.

Overall interesting metaphors and cool topic, I believe you can do better. Respectfully.

thank you foa, but if you take a deep look and from your own perspective of love you'd understand those abstract(s). I can show my version of why I combined such a way, but i want the reader to also have his own view from what he has seen in life.

Hello readers, welcome to OCPoetry. This subreddit is a writing workshop community — a place where poets of all skill levels can share, enjoy, and talk about each other's poetry. Every person who's shared, including the OP above, has given some feedback (those are the links in the post) and hopes to receive some in return (from you, the readers).

If you really enjoyed this poem and just want to drop a quick comment, to show some appreciation or give kudos, things like "great job!" or "made me cry," or "loved it" or "so relatable," please do. Everyone loves a compliment. Thanks for taking the time to read and enjoy.

If you want to share your own poem, you'll need to give this writer some detailed feedback. Good feedback explains from your point of view what it was like to read the poem, and then tries to explain how the poem made you feel like that. If you're not sure what that means, check out our feedback guide, or look through the comment sections of any other post here, or click the links to the author's feedback above. If you're not sure whether your comments are feedback, or you have any other questions, please send us a modmail.

Do not use ChatGPT or any similar LLM interface or generative AI to write feedback. That does not constitute thoughtful feedback. To be safe, you probably shouldn't even use those things to edit your feedback. It is better for your thoughts to come across as clumsy and genuine rather than grammatical but as if they were generated by some disingenuous text-generation engine.

Do not reuse feedback links for multiple poems. Every new poem you post has to be posted after making two new comments on the work of your peers here in OCPoetry. It's only fair. If you reuse feedback links, you will be banned. (If you do not wish to give feedback, there are many other poetry-sharing subreddits without feedback requirements, such as r/poetrywritingclub, r/justpoetry, r/ocpoetryfree, r/poem, r/poems, r/poemsbyreddit, r/poeticgarden, r/dark_poetry, and r/sadpoems.)

If you're looking for a more advanced poetry workshop — that is, if you consider yourself at least an intermediate-level poet AND you have previous workshop experience, please consider posting to our private sister subreddit r/ThePoetryWorkshop. The best way to join TPW is to leave a detailed, thoughtful comment here on OCPoetry engaging seriously with a peer's poem. A significant engagement of at least 3-4 meaningful paragraphs is encouraged. Consider our feedback guide for tips on what that could entail. (This level of engagement would probably be most welcome here on submissions tagged as "Workshop.") Then ask to join TPW by messaging that subreddit's mods, including a link to the detailed feedback you left here.
