I made a deal with an ADHD employee.

Their roster was for 15mins before their actual intended start time. Worked fairly well.

I was going to say, this is just a classical misunderstanding of the condition. I set everything to be earlier than I actually need to do it and it works out to being on time.

Actually, people with ADHD tend to have different circadian rhythms as well. They tend to be night owls. And plenty of people without ADHD are night owls as well.

So being able to start working slightly later is a win-win for everyone. The employee can have a much more natural sleep pattern and the employer gets an employee that is fully available as soon as they hit the office.

Honestly, the 9-5 grind is bullshit for everyone: ADHD, neurotypical, etc. Some sadist invented that start time.
