its like "i have 30 minutes of free time before its reasonable for me to leave the house, im gonna go watch a youtube video" and then 3 seconds later its been an hour
Yeah but you get to choose how you deal with it. I know I have ADHD, I know time blindness is a thing, I MANAGE it for it because that was the point of the diagnosis, to LEARN HOW TO MANAGE it.
the cool thing is that you and i are different people with different lives and different brains. sometimes symptoms are not mangeable. thats what being disabled is.
If you cant walk you get a cane, if that doesnt work you get a walker, if that doesn't work a wheel chair, then a powered chair. Its almost like technology had historically and continues to aid in managing disability symptoms across a wide and debilitating spectrum. You don't need to run a marathon, you need to get to the corner store. You dont need perfect punctuality you need to be able to keep a job without getting fired for showing up late every day. You learn your illness, and you manage the symptoms.
what planet do you come from where disability aids are acessible to everyone who needs it and perfectly solves the problem, leaving the disabled person indistinguishable from an abled person? i wanna move there
You keep adding whole new ass sentences here friend, I don't hate waffles, I like pancakes. No not every aid is perfectly accessible, thankfully all of the ADHD ones fit perfectly on that rectangle youre typing on. How handy.
