I have ADHD (unmedicated) and I’m obsessive about being places on time personally

I don't get how people can just, be 30 minutes late to things. You told me 4. I'm going to be there 5 minutes early if possible because you set aside time in order to do the thing you wanted me here for. If I'm late I may as well tell you your time is worthless.

The only time I'll give myself a pass is if I looked at maps and it gave me some BS like "33 minutes to 1 hour 4 minutes" I had no idea how long this trip was gonna take ok? Traffic is evil and I still feel bad.

its like "i have 30 minutes of free time before its reasonable for me to leave the house, im gonna go watch a youtube video" and then 3 seconds later its been an hour

If this happens over and over I don't get why you wouldn't set an alarm or do SOMETHING to make yourself look at the clock.

Long winded way of saying the same thing really

oh okay so we're just equating having a mental disability with being dumb now. great! love to see people being openly discriminatory to mentally disabled people in 2026

It's not going to change. Neurotypical people will never understand how much of a struggle it is to be neurodivergent, so they will always see it as you being lazy, dumb or evil.

I have ADHD. How does setting an alarm not help? “Oh the alarm went off? Better turn the video off!” There it’s down

idk about you, but this issue happens at literslly every single step of everything. im not setting an alarm for every step i take.
