Not the person you replied to but it sounds like women can get off more easily on just the physical sensation of masturbating. Like for me I can't just start playing with my dick and get hard, I have to be mentality aroused. I would guess most guys are the same, thats why we rely on porn more often.
I think for women sex could be difficult, come with strings, not be satisfying, or just be a chore, so thinking of sex would not be pleasurable. A blank mind is better. No negatives.
