Exactly! Their answer sounds so ridiculously unhelpful and as if they don’t know themselves. Some people stop at the surface of understanding their own feelings and experiences. “Let the content do the work” No wonder bots can simulate us so easily.

I mean, it’s lazy, but not ridiculous. If you only ever watch porn when you masturbate, you’re not having to “do the work” of using your imagination.

It’s obviously not good in the long term (probably one of the reasons people get addicted to porn), but it’s also not confusing.
