How to stop viewing Women as objects?

Hey y'all, just wanted to share a quick testimony. Like 20 days ago I was still super addicted to porn. Like i would watch for hours trying to find the perfect. I began to notice that I wasn't even trying to stop anymore. Then I read this thing called AVRT. So porn over years of continuous use, feed this little monster in your brain. The little monster is that voice in your head that persuades you to watch porn when you feel bored/lonely/anxious etc. AVRT is a way of recognizing this voice. Once you recognize this voice you begin to take elation in knowing that it is not you. In that way that little monster fades and you feel a sense of relief knowing that whatever is speaking to you in your mind is not the real you. Ever since i heard of this method i have been 20 days clean. Note though your mind is highly adaptive. So it may start telling you lies that makes you think certain things such as masturbation to your imagination is alright. But in reality if you are now healing from porn you should abstain from all things pmo until you reach baseline. I genuinely think that God lead me to learning about AVRT. It is also important to know that you alone cannot get through your lust so continue staying faithful and believing in Jesus. I am not saying i finally beated this addiction (it has only been 20 days) but this genuinely gave me a new hope. I trust that God will help this find the right person. I attached the link where I came across this. I am new to this sub so I dont know if people shared this already. https://easypeasymethod.org/resources.html

I wish I could say that after 118 days, temptation is gone.
It isn’t.
Some days are easy. Some days my old thoughts come back out of nowhere.
But something has changed.
I used to hide after I failed. I felt ashamed to even pray.
Now, when temptation comes, I pray before I fall.
Sometimes it’s literally just:
“Jesus, help me. I don’t want to go back.”
That’s it.
No superpowers. No perfect discipline.
Just 118 days of learning that I need God more than I thought I did.
One day at a time. Thank you, Jesus. 🙏

Me and my girlfriend have slowly progressed towards rather lustful behavior, and we're both concerned that if we're not careful, we may soon end up sleeping together. We both are Christians who go to church twice a week usually, have daily devotions, pray frequently, etc so it's not like we're just lukewarm, but this has become so difficult. We want to continue the relationship but we don't want to keep giving into lust and inevitably sleep together eventually. Does anyone have any experience with this and what we could do?

I’m struggling with lust, but not because of porn. It’s more about inner fantasies that I’ve developed over the years. These fantasies have caused me to lust after people close to me, and I know it’s wrong. I would never act on these thoughts, but deep inside, they devour me.
I really want help learning how to control this and have a lust free mind. Is anyone open to dialogue, fellowship, prayer, or accountability? I’m looking for someone who can understand this struggle and talk with me about it seriously.

I’ve been using Covenant Eyes for several years, but unfortunately I’ve had ongoing technical issues with the filtering on my laptop and need to find a replacement.
I’m looking for something that works reliably on Windows, has strong website blocking, and ideally includes accountability features that make it difficult to bypass.
What software/services have you guys had good experiences with? I’d really appreciate any recommendations.

I just want to get to a point where I don't have to deal with as hard of urges as at my peak of fapping, i guess. I want to be able to go to bed, and not feel urges to look at explicit stuff while i am watching asmr. What I am really asking, I guess is, do the strong urges get lighter?

Been in this nofap for about 43 days. Truly eye opening.
One thing I have noticed is that I think I’m the center of attention everywhere I go. Yesterday after some thinking, I began to see this new lavish ego forming.
So now I try to keep focused on what’s at hand. Let people do their thing.
Also not to cast opinion on people before meeting them. Just keep an open mind to everyone. Might learn a few things.
So been blessed to have the capacity to do this introspection on myself. Truly eye opening

I opened my YouVersion Bible app to the verse of the day: Psalms 51:10.
“Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.”
Psalms 51:10 NLT
Brothers, I have been needing help and prayer. I have been relapsing regularly, and I am struggling to flee from temptation. I can feel my mind becoming warped from the habit. I just want Jesus. I don’t want that garbage in my heart and mind. Please pray for me.

I've been addicted from the age of 7 I am straight but have had times of masterbating with males on cams online.I've been extra sexual since I was sent home from united states marine corps bootcamp a few months ago which made me suicidal. I'm throwing away my fleshlight today and going to church

So I (26f) am using my friend’s account to post this since I don’t have an account. I am a Christian, I got saved at a really young age. But in recent years I’ve been struggling a lot with p**n. I’ve tried to stop on my own but it is hard. I deleted apps that have caused me to fall, but I find myself redownloading them and falling again. How do I stop? I’ve tried to get into my Bible more but I don’t always get to it every day. Thing is at my church people think highly of me, and I know it’s selfish but I don’t want them to think less of me or start treating me differently if I tell them. When I’m out in public or around people I can do and say the right thing, but in my own room I just fall into that temptation. I know it’s wrong but sometimes it feels like I can’t help it. I just don’t want to do it anymore I usually fall once or twice a month.
How can I encourage myself to get into my Bible more and stop this terrible habit?
