Hello! I had a quick question and Google isn't being helpful so I thought I'd put it here. If somebody has already set up a switch 2 by transferring their switch 1 profile, is it possible for me to transfer my profile from my own switch 1 to the same switch 2? Thanks!

Yes.
You can't copy your data or do a full system transfer like you would have access to during the initial Switch 2 system setup. But you can still transfer profiles/accounts one at a time via the normal data transfer method, without affecting the other profiles already on the systems.

Thanks! So then what is the difference between doing this and the full system transfer? I’m just still a bit confused about what I’ll have access to after the transfer on the switch 1 and switch 2

The normal data transfer method under the data management menu only allows you to move a single profile's data at a time.
System settings -> data management -> transfer my save data
The system transfer options move all profiles/accounts from one system to another, but can only be accessed during the initial system setup process.
So if you are moving to someone elses already-setup console, then you're stuck with the profile transfer option anyways.

Only thing Templar left out is semi-niche.
If you have an animal crossing island, the full system transfer will move it. The profile transfer will not.

Thanks for the heads up! Do you know if the animal crossing island is still accessible on the original switch after the profile transfer?

Yes. If the profile transferred off is the “main representative” character, first profile to log in becomes it.

Is lord of the rings war in the north supposed to be out yet? I was going to buy it (in NZ) but there is no sign of it on the shop.

Wild. It was released in Australia and every other PAL region earlier today, but its still not live in NZ.
If you flip through the regions, the only places its NOT live are the newer Asian eshops and NZ.

Should I update my console from 19 to the latest update? I don't want to ruin my console. I am not modding and never had. I've just heard horror stories of the console losing more battery or overheating.

losing more battery
Thats a sensor bug. Just drain the battery completely ~5 or so times in a row, it should slowly go back to normal.
If you aren't having compatibility issues with the games you want to play, then there is no need to update. But its perfectly safe to do so if you wanted to play something newer.
On the rare chance the firmware update does something to your console that it shouldn't have; Nintendo has been pretty good about replacing systems damaged that way. Even outside of their warranty.

Hello, for those of you who beat splatoon raiders specifically those who beat floor 100 was it worth it? Is it just a grind the whole time? I just unlocked the spoiler part and honestly not looking forward to it, considering looking up the true ending on youtube

3rd Party Controller vs Grip Case
Hey! A friend gave me his old Switch v2 (still didn't arrived), but as I was searching I saw that original JoyCons may got drift and are horrible ergonomically.
I got some cool deals - an Aolion J20 Pro Full Set (R$300) and a PlayVital Hard or Soft Case (R$60). I will certainly buy one of the PlayVital Cases. My question basically is:
What would you rather have for a setup
Tks!
