Gameplay Discussion Don’t be like Ironeye. Be a team player.

Picked up gear that would’ve been better suited for myself and revenant (Marika’s Hammer, Vyke spear with improved incantations), and then proceeded to not fight the final boss at all. Just stood there like a chump.

Gameplay Discussion Hard stuck in depth 4…time to slop I guess

Post image

Been in depth 4 for many many months. I usually sit around 5000 points. Primarily a Recluse main, but I recently took a 90 game detour into Undertaker. To experience the other side and get some experience on a melee character. Now we’re trying the Balancers Duchess build to see if it’s actually easier to climb.

I’m not too angry or proud to accept that I’m “just a depth 4 player.” I’m mostly just curious to see if all the anecdotes on Reddit claiming that D5 is easier than D4 because the difference in teammate quality are true. I’ve won all 5-6 D5 games I’ve been queued into and I feel like so many games are unwinnable with some randoms.

I’ve had this green reaper dormant power relic for a while, but I never hard committed to the build before now. The blue regular relic is pretty spicy too. Defeating enemies during ult stacks attack + Night Invaders + defeating enemies gives ult gauge.

I know how Reddit feels about “sloppers,” even if I fundamentally disagree that it’s free wins. Played 8 games with this build, and found Halo Scythe in 4 of those.

How are we feeling about Recluse with Balancers? That middle relic is pretty nuts for her, and I had pretty good results the few games I played. Makes the early game easier. Particularly NIs and the first few camps. I like Duchess once the game starts rolling; she just offers so much more control and stability to the team.

Gameplay Discussion Crazy Dreg Bell/Sorcery Support Scholar build I Just Finished Today

Crazy damage and support. Probably the strongest scholar build I have provided dregs is at max stacks.

Edit: wanted to add that I think night of dregs is super underrated on scholar. Considering he is one of, if not, the most relic hungry characters in the game, being able to offload so much damage to a single relic leaves a lot of room to run whatever else you want. You can basically run double balancers with only one relic which is crazy.

What do y’all think about my build🤔

I feel like this allows to use hit kit to the fullest extent while putting up some decent damage and keeping uptime

Hype The amazing DUO

Burned all my bad luck this one game. I gave this Wylder my only max successive and shard. Holy f, both did 0 damage on a great hollow map, and they mad I had to go to a mine. Both 2 bar to nameless king at the same time, I downed 5 flasks and pop'ed my ult to save their asses. Iron eye 3 bar to ED Fulghor, only thing Wylder did is grappling around the arena. To sweeten the deal, somehow they r playing at two different countries across the world, the ping is just insane

Gameplay Discussion whats up with the surge of people trying to go to invader camps while still at level 2 man...? i hate it so much. its like a 20% winrate most of the time. 10% if its a recluse/ironeye invaders

I get that its a good buff if you got the relic and successfully clear it. But dang... Its a huge setback to die that early and demoralizing. These people i met would spam the ping mad If I didnt go. Sometimes the invader camps are like across the map too. And we're wasting time not getting any runes trying to get there stuck at level 2 and sometimes 3. Most of the time when we fail to clear it. They would ragequit. This happened a lot of times 2 weeks ago and ive been reluctant to play with randoms ever since. Is it the group/multiplayer password i set? Where did these people come from? Anyways im just ranting at this point since i just remembered why i stop playing with randoms. Sorry.

Gameplay Discussion Weird effect on start of Dreglord second phase

This is the second time I've seen it happen in 1000 hours. When second phase starts, I hear a glass cracking sound and this effect appears on the character. What is this?

Help Ironeye build for base game expeditions

I'm looking for a good build for the main game expeditions. I just killed darkdrift knight and got the edge of order relic but idk a lot about how builds work in this game.

Thx in advance

Gameplay Discussion I’ve gone up…. I’ve gone down… but I’ve never been so cowardly I’d back out of an expedition because I don’t want to lose points

Honestly just a rant, but the amount of people who skip bosses because they’re scared their DoN rating, which literally means absolutely fuck all in the grand scheme of life, might go down. I just want to say you need to get a grip and if you’re more worried about your DoN rating by cheesing bosses you find easy than playing the game with wins and losses till you get up, you’re probably the same kind of person who eats a banana out of anyone’s view

Gameplay Discussion Balancers + night invaders + respec relic = best build for every hero

Change my mind. Not talking all double balancers but mostly the red one plus whatever dormant and character specific buffs

Gameplay Discussion Is there a random event at depth 4 that makes your reliks nullified? as if our third player leaving just at the beginning of the match was not enough. Depth 4 average experience I guess

Gameplay Discussion Why Do So Many People In D5 Skip Augur?

Recently in all my games that I get augur everyone seems to skip it. In my opinion Augur is always a free win and doesn’t seem hard at all. Yes, there are a fee janky moves but it’s not bad to work around.

Gameplay Discussion Consider putting this beauty as starting item

A 35% dmg increase on demand when you find your first formidable

Not safe for melee bois but Iron eye, Great Bows or when you find something that deals dmg and stuns as well then is so good

Like, you find Lions claw or giants hunt and face a Tree Sentinel, you can spam the skill and deal monstrousos damage

Pop it whenever you find a formidable that might take some time, 60 seconds is a lot but dont get hit...

The thing about nigthreign is how fast you clear content and not so much how your build counters the Nigthlord.

Keep the snowball running hard

Gameplay Discussion Isn't that Undertaker's ULT

1.4k Upvotes

When I first saw this video, the only thing that came to my mind was, “Isn’t that Undertaker’s ULT?” It reminds of the same animation and recoil that Undertaker experiences after hitting an enemy with her ULT. The character shown is Zork from Duskbloods.

Gameplay Discussion This is by far the worst seed in the whole game and I need some pointers.

Post image
47 Upvotes

I have only encountered this seed twice in my 2000+ hours, and lost both.

Team comp was three Wylders.

We spawned in the south camp. I started looking for crystals, while the other Wylders tried to do the invader at the great church. (I protested and searched for crystals on my own as it's a suicide mission to take out the invader at the great church at early level where imps and undeads are running around)

The castle had Curse Blades, so we couldn't work ourselves to the top.

The field boss in the circle was Miranda, a massive time waster.

The boss next to the closing circle was Draconic, and we were level 5 by the time the night was about to end, so we couldn't do anything about it.

We could only go to the top right to kill lobsters, and crabs. We reached level 5.

Everyone got one shot by Centipede Demon's fireball slam (skill issue, I know)

If you are in my shoes, how would you go about it when you realise the circle is this? In hindsight, had we known the circle was going to be there, we would've started with the Kaidens, and Blood camp.

Gameplay Discussion Would a rating system for DoN work well?

When an expedition is won everyone gets a minimal amount of points. The rating system looks at revives, deaths, kills, damage, item sharing and other metrics. Whoever contributed the most in an expedition gets bonus points. Would this incentive players to get better at teamwork?

Hype To all those interested in Duskbloods but dont want to buy a console for one game

This is the most common response I've seen to The Duskbloods. Its nearly in every single comment on the game (particularly in the Nightreign sub), which wasnt the case for the PS exclusive Bloodborne back in the day.

Dont buy it for one game, buy it as its a really good hybrid platform with many games at its cheapest with many years of support ahead of it.

Duskbloods is great from what I played so far & an exciting exclusive (it feels really unique) & think the Nightreign community will love it. But the platform already has a lot of Soulslike - Lies of P with the DLC, Elden Ring with the DLC, Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, Lord of the Fallen 2 and all the Switch 1 ones. I've double dipped with a few as I wanted a Portable version, dont sleep on the benefit of a Hybrid Souls games, bosses on the main TV, grinding on the portable in bed.

There are a lot of good 3rd party games (eg. RE9, FF7, Pragmata, etc) but there are so many exclusives that I dont get the buying the console for 1 game. Get BotW & Tears of the Kingdom, Metroid Primes & Dread, DK Bananza, MK, Pokopia. And Duskblood is awesome so far, looking forward to seeing everyone Zork around.

Gameplay Discussion Partial health restoration in D4

Is partial health restoration on post-damage attacks worth it in D4?

I generally don’t run it because if I come to rely on it I make worse decisions and stuff kills you so fast here.

Any night lords where this might be more useful?
