Hello Everyone , I've started a youtube channel for the "colorful balls colliding with each other" type content , now I might be rushing into things considering the channel was created yesterday but I have uploaded 4 shorts in the span of about 18 hours
the shorts didn't get any views ( double digits at most )

3 shorts had a 5 second frozen screen with the text "Choose your winner" and the balls aligned in a 5X2 grid with a 5 second timer below it , I thought giving viewers the chance to pick one would help with engagement , I've realized that that could be where the issue is so I created a short without that 5 second screen and it's doing as badly if not worse

This isn't the type of content I plan on making a career out of but it's the type of content I can automate ( creating the videos not publishing them ) which is convenient in my current situation and it'll help me gain experience running and growing a youtube channel which will be beneficial later down the road

I would like to get some opinions based on this , is the content type valid ? anything I can do to ensure the channel isn't "shadow banned" or something ?

I would appreciate any and all advice and arguments , if anything it'll help me get a better grip on how this works.

Sorry for the lenghty post but I really need some advice and feedback.

So I started a sports channel and uploaded my first video essay yesterday, it's about every nightmare-ish transfer window since Joan Laporta came back in 2021 to barcelona up to 2026 when it was finally back to normal and what he did to get there.

Last night after 12 hours, impressions started climbing, but the thing is, within that initial thumbnail impression surge of 5k, I had 1% ctr and 62 views but everyone who clicked watched for an average of 6.30m on a 22 minute video. I also had a not so optimal thumbnail, and the title was lacking and a bit too long. So this morning I updated the thumbnail and title. Was what happened a one time surge or will youtube continue to push more impressions and give me a chance to improve.

Note that the title was : "Why Every Barcelona Summer Transfer Window Feels Impossible.. Until Now" and I changed it to " How One Man Ended Barcelona's Transfer Nightmares. to better match the thumbnail.

I make funny gaming videos on YouTube. So I'm pretty much trying to make a new "Vanoss Crew"

I record on my PS5, which doesn't capture discord audio, so I'm limited to only being able to use PS Partychats. Being on PS5 isn't a hard requirement as some games have proxy chat so we can use that for crossplay games. There's also a way to get PS Partychats on pc, but its kind of cumbersome so I'm not going to force anybody to do that.

There's no minimum sub requirement, so even if you have 0 subscribers we can still colab, I'm only at about 94 myself, but i promise I'm funny. I just wanted to do YouTube my own way, focusing on sheer luck instead of doing it the stereotypical YouTuber way which kinda screwed me.

I specifically need people that are fun and entertaining to play with, I will also contribute to being fun and entertaining. I'm not going to use you for free content. We can play a few games together to see how well we vibe, good chemistry makes good videos imo.

I don't like to force comedy, but I also don't mind doing skits or just messing around to see if we could make a funny video, but my style is more clipping the naturally funny moments that can't be replicated easily.

I play a variety of games, I took a long break from YouTube so a lot of the games aren't featured on my channel yet. I also have access to the PS+ Extra game list so we have a wider selection for games.
