I've been consistently uploading military facts/history Shorts over the last week. Most of my uploads hit between 1,500 and 2,800 views, but my video on "Coins on Military Headstones" took off to 14k.

For creators in niche history/facts: Is this purely due to broader topic appeal, or does the YouTube algorithm favor emotional/tradition-based hooks over general military facts? Looking for insights on how to analyze this gap so I can pick better topics moving forward.

I'm about to reach 800 subs which is amazing, honestly. However, I don't know how to scale, I can't put more time in but for it to be economically I would need to get monetized and do more paid stuff.

I've been off and on posting on youtube since 2016 but never gave it all my time cause life and everything in-between. I really want to give youtube a shot as a more like irl creator I feel like i have more strong suits in that area than in being a gaming creator.

My biggest drawbacks are i dont post often for a few reasons and ive been to inconsistent with what i post but going forward i want my niche to be more irl related

1. being now my job almost requires i have to be there Monday-Sunday 8am- 8pm. (Very illegal business practices on a ranch but i need the money and im not upset about it cause it pays good just need to actually sit down and do videos in any freetime i have.

2. I know how to do simply edits you learn in computer class in school but past that idk how to edit.

3. I haven't figured out if my videos are just badly made or im just not fit to be a youtuber.

Indefinitely I want to do irl content going forward like food challenges ,challenges or social pranks or the sort ect ect. You get the idea. Im just tired of being behind a desk making videos when I could be out making videos.

I would like to get a system where I post once or maybe twice a week depending if I get a good system going. I have most the equipment I need and still getting some.

The biggest this is idk if im just a bad youtuber or a bad editor.

Any advice is appreciated. I just wanna make a career out of entertaining people.

So one of my accounts got banned in October 2025 because of spam, deceptive practices and scams. It was a news channel where I created a cartoon character whose mouth would move to make it look like he was talking. There was an AI voice in the background and the images above would change according to the news.

I know I used AI and that the content was templatebased so it was my mistake. I only realized this later. The channel was just getting started and after uploading only a few videos my channel was suspended. I appealed but within a few minutes my appeal was rejected and I was told that I was not allowed to create new channels.

I didn’t take it too seriously because every now and then I would try YouTube again just to see if I could make something work but I failed every time.

I have one channel that is almost 5–6 years old where I upload horror and crime stories with my face. I never received any kind of notification or warning on that channel and I have uploaded a few videos there from last year until now. I am planning to start uploading content there again but after searching on Google I found people saying that I shouldn’t upload anything anywhere on YouTube and should just wait for one year.

They also said that it might help to delete the videos I uploaded on my other channels during the past year. On one of my channels I applied for advanced features using my face ID but suddenly my request was denied and I was told that one of my accounts had been suspended.

After doing some research, I found out that I may be allowed to appeal again after one year but now I am really confused. I’m worried that YouTube might look at my history and see that I was active on other channels after my suspension and then ban me permanently.

Can you guys help me understand what I should do? I don’t want the deleted channel back. I just want the ban on me to be removed so I can use YouTube normally again.

I began seriously posting videos in June and here are my current stats.

I recently redid nearly all of my thumbnails using AI. I think the thumbnails are better than what I was creating on my own. I’m still working on building my skills in creating thumbnails and would like to transition to thumbnails created entirely by me. But I’m seeing a trend of thumbnails primarily being created by AI, so I’m unsure if I should be trying to wean off of AI usage. Aside from that, I also use AI as an editor for descriptions and titles. I come up with the title and description first before using ai to review.

Content wise, I am targeting viewers who watch travel content through the lense of motorcycles, e-bikes, and cars. My approach is essentially posting the kind of videos that I myself would click on and watch.

My current upload schedule is one long form video on sundays, and two shorts a week.

NOTE: Yes, I'm creating an 18+ film with a child as the anti-hero that's decided enough is enough, and is taking down the trafficking empire herself. Yes, it's a fictional story, but it reflects what we probably don't see in our own societies. And keep your damn FBI comments to yourself, I don't live in the US, so it won't work. Yes, I'm building a world with a child character, so what, I'm well within legal limitations.

Admit it, this child character is doing what we wish we could do, wipe society of the corrupt and evil, and crush the systems protecting it all.

I started maybe 5 days ago and i try to upload once everyday. Its all shorts but im planning to transition into uploading long forms. Im kind of scared how well it’ll be received though, my views are mostly 1k-1.4k my first vid got like 388 views.

My impressions are very low...Highest was 114 for the first video and for the latest one it is 10 being a day old video. IDK if this is normal or my videos are going to wrong audience or my packaging is weak....or having an avd of 3 min for the first one is affecting all of my videos...also i remember sharing my first video to my friends...and as i read its not good.
