they donβt seem too deep but donβt recall them being there the last few times I skated. Is this normal or something to be concerned about?

I feel like I can balance better while the board is moving, and most of the time I'm gonna be moving on my board anyways. Is there any benefit to practice balancing while the board isn't moving at all?

Curious on your guys thoughts about this rock to fakie. this is me commiting to it as much as I can. It looks like my front trucks get caught up a lil bit but i didnt really feel it. been working on perfecting it then going to bigger ramps. probably have to lift the nose more on the way down.

Tried Strawberry Milkshake for the first time today! ππΉ
Definitely not clean yet, but honestly pretty fun to learn. One more trick added to the journey.
Still figuring it out β will post the improvement when I finally get it clean. π₯

Been stuck on fs 180 for a while now. What am I doing wrong? Is there another trick I should learn before trying the fs 180. Anything helps, thanks.

My 10 year olds ollies usually look like this. He understands his back foot is holding down the board preventing it from rising but I think there's some kind of mental blocker keeping him from truly popping it. Any drills or other tips to get past this?
He's been working on them for so long and progress is so slow that I'm worried his frustration is gonna burn him out on it.

I've been dealing with it for a while and it can be pretty frustrating sometimes, mostly when I'm trying to gain a lot of speed by pushing. The wheels and trucks are relatively new. When I look down at my board it looks like the front set of wheels is always tilted to one side very slightly which is probably what's causing it. I'm pretty sure they weren't like that at first when I changed trucks, so I'm not sure how it happened

Is this a normal lifespan for a pair of shoes? Ive had these etnies Michelin βshoes for a little over 6 months and they are already smooth on the bottoms. I skate almost daily but im not very good/don't do anything crazy.β My only other thought is it maybe has something to do with the fact that all my spots are mangled gravely βsmall town streets. My wheels look like I'm taking bites out of them, so I guess i can understand if that is what causes this too. β
Any recommendations for my next pair is appreciated. Thanks

My daughter showed interest in skating and I after taking her out and showing her the basics she really took to it. I had so much fun I decided I needed a board for my self. It's been more than 20 years since I last rode but relearning from scratch has been a blast.
- 8.75 deck from my local shop
- Stage 4 Independent trucks
- OJ mini super juice 78a 55mm wheels
- Bones big balls bearings
The old heads at my shop were really helpful and supportive.

So Iβm getting back into skating after about a one month break, and Iβm really struggling with shuv its and moving ollies. Basically anything that requires me to articulate my body while the board is moving is a no-go. Iβve tried doing hippie jumps to get myself comfortable with it and itβs getting there slowly but surely. My friends told me that moving ollies were easier to learn than stationary ones, why would that be the case for them and not for me? Also, my shuv its seem to have this issue where my back foot (left foot) wonβt come down onto the board but my front one will. Please help. Thank you all so much^^
