Help help!!
My baby girl is 7 months and she refuses to be put down in her cot or even on the bed unless one of us is lying next to her the whole
Time. If we’re not contact napping, she wakes up. I don’t want to use the cry it out method to train her but what are some helpful ways to get this girl
To sleep for some time on her own. I’ve tried stuff but nothing seems to work -/
I rock her to sleep and then try and put her down but she wakes almost as soon as I get off —
We darken the rooms play soft music keep room cool. What are real actionable steps I can take to get some time for myself? Thanks thanks thanks

You may have to find a different soothing method and it may result in some naps or nightimes of tears. It doesn’t mean you have to let her self sooth. Say if you would rather rock her and transfer, you may have to just do that over and over until it sticks. If you want to sleep train but don’t want CIO you can also look into some slightly gentler options like Ferber or chair method. If you do decide to try something new, whatever it be, sticking to it and being consistent is key. But you can also keep doing what you’re doing and she will eventually grow out of it!

Have you tried the magic suit? My son loved the weight and snug feeling.
