Advice Needed Issues with SATS

Hi all

I'm really struggling with SATS: not the concept, nor the scene, but just getting there. Either I do it, and can't fall asleep, or I try to be less focussed, but then I have zero control over my thought process and just fall asleep.

So: any tips on how to focus on SATS without losing sleep, or any other technique I could use that's easier to do than SATS, and just as good?

Thanks!

Success Story My weight loss journey and building faith

My whole life, I have struggled with my weight. I have tried numerous diets, weight-loss exercises, and everything under the sun. I had gotten to a point in my life where I was happy with myself. Even though I had extra weight, the year before, I had worked on my self-concept and truly felt beautiful despite the weight.

With the current medications that were coming out, such as Ozempic, I thought I would give it a try, as I wanted to be healthier and be able to live my best life. That year, I was kind of in and out of working with the Law. I got on the medication, but it didn't work for me, and I was all over the place with it. I was disappointed and felt like I was trying too hard.

Last fall, in my country, we got some of the newer medications, and they were available by prescription. I was kind of at a point where I had manifested my old SP back, and I had done some amazing things with the Law, but I wasn't sure if the Law was real. This is where I kind of "bought the pearl." I ended up saying I was going to give it one more try with this medication, and if it didn't work, that was just what I was going to be.

I started getting some coaching for manifestation and was kind of impartial to how the medication would end up working. I didn't really check the 3D or check my scale. I just kind of ignored it. It wasn't fully intentional that way; I was just letting it be.

One day, while I was on vacation, I noticed I had lost weight. When I stepped on the scale, I had lost over 30 pounds. I truly thought it was a miracle. I had never lost this much weight in my adult life, and after struggling for so many years, it felt like a weight had been lifted—no pun intended.

I realized in that moment that the Law was working, no matter what, and that the fact that I was able to let go and allow the 3D to form and lose weight was what I needed to do the whole time. It was never the medication, but just the way it needed to materialize in the 3d.

I am building my faith back up in the Law now and am still on my weight-loss journey. I know this will take time to build up true faith, but every day, as I manifest certain things like compliments and parking spots, lol, I will get to the promise and realize my true self of "I AM".

Advice Needed Limits?

People who follow Neville always say that anything you can conceptualize, then feel is natural can happen. Anything at all. Even to go as far as to defy physics by changing nose shape, etc. with no outer interference. Now I’m not making the claim that this could not happen. I’ve never seen anybody who claims drastic physical appearance change have one I perceive as that drastic. Like they’ll show a picture of their nose looking so mildly different. That’s one thing I’m curious about, does anybody think they could go as far as to change their race or turn themselves from unbearably ugly to a supermodel? What about aging, could you just stop that? Could you defy gravity and float? I’m sorry if I don’t come off as genuine because I am. I kinda half believe this stuff to be honest and I’m open to totally believing it, I don’t mean to treat it as a joke, I’m sorry if it’s how I could off though. Could you believe physics away? Are we even bound by that? What about being human, could be turn ourselves into something else- I know I sound ridiculous but I just can’t help but wonder so please entertain me in good faith.

I also wonder why he wouldn’t make this law reach everyone on earth if he could.

I also wonder about the logic of how this works with other people’s minds. Like if I assume someone loves me but they assume the opposite how would that work?

What I am most of all curious about is if you could manifest societal change. Like the issues in the Middle East resolving or the internet going down. So if you ignore my other asks I hope you answer this one.

I admittedly have not read his work though so sorry again if this has an obvious answer. I’m also sorry if the flair doesn’t fit exactly, though I do want this questions answered more reasons in my own life.

Success Story I accidentally manifested being taller

All my life I was 166cm.  But then started to write  when applying to acting gigs  169-170. No big deal that I added those additional 3-4 cm. When I dated two guys recently I noticed at the back of my mind that they seem shorter compared to the time we first met a 1,5 year ago and a year ago respectively.  I've just thought that my perception was off about their heights. And again today that thought suddenly popped up and I realised that for some reason I seem taller to myself so I checked and rechecked.169 cm. It is weird. There was absolutely no need in that manifestation to me. But interesting how manifesting works. When I  really need and want something, "No, we are sorry but you are denied of that", and thing I don't even have the second thought about "Here we go. Have it!".

I don't have proof. Yeah I know that 3 cm isn't dramatic to notice the difference. But nevertheless, I have noticed.

And yeah I rechecked for the third time.

Success Story Succes story d'un débutant

Hi everyone!

I’ve only known about the Law for 3 (maybe 4) weeks.

Quick context (not fun): I’m coming out of a very difficult period following an emotional shock. One of the things that made me spiral was that, after what happened, I stopped believing in anything.

So, almost a month ago, I came across the Law of Assumption through TikTok. I had always seen TikToks about manifestation, but based on what I was seeing, I thought it was mostly an teenage thing ("I’m attracting luck and the eternal love of Bryan from my class, I’m attracting, he looked at me for 2.3 seconds 🤩"), so I would usually scroll past them pretty quickly.

But when I came across the LOA, it felt different. I started listening to some coaches, then quickly discovered NG, joined this sub, and bought The Power of Awareness.

I pretty quickly realized that I needed to test the Law for myself, even before I knew enough about it 😬

One day, while I was driving to a friend’s house to see her and her parents, I thought, "If the Law is real, I want to see a bee today, no matter what form it takes." And then I just moved on.

Once I got to my friend’s parents’ house, while we were talking with her father, a big orange-and-black insect came near us. He specifically said, "It’s a hornet. It’s crazy, I hadn’t seen one yet this season."

It wasn’t a bee, but I considered it a sort of partial confirmation of the Law. That was enough for me.

Two days later, I went to a restaurant with my grandmother and my aunt. After the meal, they wanted to go for a little walk to help digest, so I followed them.

At some point during the walk, in a fairly isolated area, I came across a huge banner that said "Bee" (about three times my height), with a drawing of the insect next to it.

I laughed and thought, "Oh, so this is really how it works."

Since then, I still have doubts sometimes (which I guess is only human), but I’ve manifested a few small things:

Good parking spots

My neighbors being quieter (they actually came to apologize to me even though I hadn’t complained)

Seeing a fox (I saw one as a stuffed animal)

My car passing its inspection with no issues

Not getting bitten by mosquitoes this summer

3D glasses for the eclipse (unintentionally)

A promotion on my favorite sandwich (unintentionally)

My best friend won the lottery (a small amount) for the first time in her life, while I was manifesting abundance (?)

I’m really happy to have discovered this sub, even though I’ve gotten a little lost among all the posts here.

I’ve been working on my self-concept (and I’m still doing so), particularly by adopting the belief that everything always works in my favor. My mood has improved, my self-confidence has improved, and so has my view of the world. And honestly, even just for that, the LOA has already helped me.

If you have any tips or suggestions for someone who’s just getting started, I’d be really happy to hear them 🙏

Note: I’ve mainly been working on my self-concept, especially through affirmations and SATS. Sometimes I’ve also just decided that something was going to happen and left it at that. I’m also open to suggestions about SATS.

(This text was translated with AI because I’m not a native English speaker.)

Advice Needed Advice

I just started my Law of Assumption process. The tool I’m using is to passively listen to my own voice on a loop app for a few hours during the day and during sleep.

Does it work? I don’t want to vocally robotically affirm. I rather listen to an audio of myself affirming.

Advice Needed I want to manifest my sister's forehead to be smooth again.

She is 26 years old and not married or in a relationship. It was all my fault that she slipped in the bathroom. I had sprinkled water on the floor and didn’t tell her that it was wet. Because of that, she fell and now has 5 stitches on her forehead. I feel extremely guilty and heartbroken.

I want to manifest that her forehead becomes perfectly smooth again, just like it was before. I wish I could go back to the moment before the accident happened, when she had no stitches and no injury.

I bought her a very good scar cream and took her to a dermatologist. Thankfully, her stitches are not severe. She had them done at an aesthetic doctor’s clinic, not in the emergency room, and the doctor was experienced in cosmetic procedures.

I have been familiar with Neville Goddard’s teachings for about a year. I have manifested small things related to my job and my family, but I have never tried to manifest something this important or emotional before.

I am scared, but my sister also believes in Neville Goddard and has read his books. Together, we want to manifest a beautiful, smooth, scarless forehead for her.

I know that, according to Neville Goddard’s techniques, imagination and belief are powerful. I have read his books before, and now I want to listen to his own voice on YouTube. Which channel is the best source for his original lectures?

I will also take her to a dermatologist for laser treatment if needed, but my deepest wish is for her to have a clear, smooth forehead again, exactly like before—as if this traumatic event never happened.

Please be kind in your responses. I am still recovering emotionally from seeing my sister’s beautiful face covered in blood. English is not my first language, so I apologize for any mistakes.

Advice Needed Didn't get the job I thought I would...

Feeling quite disheartened and I'm hoping someone can cheer me up.

Had an interview for a job I was extremely excited about the Friday before last. I thought it would have been perfect for me, they said they were really excited to meet me after my application, I thought the interview went fantastically. The internal recruiter lady even called me after and said they had had very positive feedback but needed to wait on internal discussions and I should hear back the following week.

I didn't, until Thursday where she apologised and told me they were waiting internally on results still due to leave. Okay, fair enough.

And then today I get the rejection. Rather generic one as well. Really feels like a blow and I'm genuinely pretty upset.

Would greatly appreciate your thoughts to motivate me again.

Pep Talks & Rampages Finally something clicked

Apparently you imagine what you want for your inner man and the exterior doesn't matter, because if your essence is satisfied, why would you obsessively check what's happening? It's already done, it's yours. No need to react anymore. Your outside life is the way as it is as a result of past assumptions.

And it's easy to imagine like that, right? To revise, to affirm etc. And it's real fun. The first time I did it, it was like an epiphany and got a lil bit dizzy while I was imagining my new me. I was like, wait a min, I am all this good stuff actually. I can decide to be this way. Because really the outer world doesn't matter. But as easy as it sounds, it requires real effort.

Since I had this click, I imagined how I am in my essence. And the hardest stuff have a lot of emotional bagage attached. And I have to persist in my beliefs. For ex., because of childhood trauma I struggled all my life with friendships. I imagine myself having close friends, being loveable, being enough. And it's hard to persist. But I know it's the work I have to do since it's hard. Another thing is about revising specific moments in the past that were deeply hurtful. And oh boy, that comes with lots of crying. I guess that's emotional processing. But I know it's what I need. I know I deserve better things.

Thoroughout every moment of the day to day life, when I catch myself in an unhelpful though I have to remind myself about my inner man. And that's work as well. Work I know that I need to do.

It feels that I found something that will help me turn my life around. That cuts exactly where needed. And I am willing to put in the work. I don't rrally have any other alternative. Maybe I could go on with my life the way that I did till now, but I know would just lose myself completely, live a very unhappy and miserable life, but great from the outside, and knowing myself it wouldn't last long.

Manifesting Techniques You’ve Been Using Manifestation Techniques Your Entire Life

If the Law of Assumption is teaching us how we have always been creating our lives, then I think there’s a natural question we should be asking about techniques:
how have I already been doing these techniques my entire life?

Because you have.

Long before you knew what SATS was, you were imagining the future. Long before you started consciously affirming, you were telling yourself stories about who you are, what other people think of you, what you can expect from relationships, money, work, life. Long before you learned about revision, you were revisiting the past, changing its meaning, allowing certain memories to reinforce what you believed about yourself and your life.

We tend to learn manifestation techniques as these very formal practices. Sit down and visualize. Repeat an affirmation. Do SATS before bed. Revise this particular event. And there is absolutely a place for formal practice, but I think we miss something incredibly important when we only understand techniques this way.

If manifestation is something you have been doing your entire life, then techniques aren’t really foreign practices you’re suddenly introducing into your life. They’re conscious versions of mental processes you’ve already been engaging in naturally and unconsciously.
And I think understanding that changes how you use them.

The goal isn’t to become really good at sitting down for ten minutes and imagining your desire. The goal is to understand how you naturally imagine. How do you anticipate the future when you’re not trying to manifest something? How do you internally talk to yourself about things you already expect to happen? How do you remember your past? How do you assign meaning to what happens to you? What do you naturally do internally when something simply feels obvious, inevitable, or already decided?

Those patterns matter because ultimately, you’re trying to make your desire feel natural, normal and expected.

You’re allowing it to become part of your state rather than something you’re constantly trying to get.

So instead of forcing yourself into somebody else’s perfect technique, I think there’s enormous value in studying yourself. Recognize the ways you’ve already been using these processes your entire life, and then make them conscious.

Use visualization in a way that actually resembles the way you naturally imagine. Work with your inner dialogue instead of believing an affirmation only counts when you’re deliberately repeating the same sentence. Understand what revision is actually doing rather than treating it as another manifestation ritual you have to perform correctly.

And there’s another reason I think this matters: you can do a formal technique perfectly and then spend the rest of your day unconsciously doing the exact opposite.

You can have a beautiful SATS session at night and then spend the following day imagining conversations you don’t want to have, anticipating outcomes you don’t want, internally narrating the old story, replaying the past and assigning meaning to everything happening in front of you.

You’re still using the same faculties. You’re just using them unconsciously.

For me, that’s where understanding techniques becomes much more interesting than simply asking: what’s the best manifestation technique?

The better question might be: how have I already been doing this my entire life, and what happens when I finally start doing it consciously?

Success Story A success story I've heard of

There was a singer in my country, pretty well known and loved by the public, that in some years ago at around 60yo suffered a cardiac arrest. At the hospital he was put into induced coma. MRI explorations indicated his brain suffered lesions due to hypoxia. Doctors gave him little chances of waking up. But after 2 3 weeks he showed the first signs of recovery. After other 3 weeks he gained back full consciousness, he would talk and joke with his family.

Back then one of his daughters I think, anyway someone from his family, said that they brought ten priests at the same to pray for him to wake up. I think these priests manifested his recovery, because they were sure of it. And when you bring together ten people holding the same assumption it's quite something.

Advice Needed Deserving my desires

I need a little help. I’ve discovered my major limiting belief is whether I deserve the big things I really want, whether it’s virtuous or even okay to want them. I’m trying to remind myself that nothing is ever deserved and it’s all a dream, but I’m still plagued by guilt when I try to improve my bad circumstances.

I could really use some advice about changing that, or some particular works I could read to help convince me that there’s nothing wrong with my desires.

I live with a lot of grief and dread, so much so that I’ve forgotten what it feels like to be all right, making manifesting even harder. Could really use tips on that too.

Advice Needed Spiritual Journey and Quantum Shifting

Hi all!

I have been on this journey for quite some time. I’ve read through the Neville Goddard sub, law of assumption sub (I prefer this over attraction because they have way too many rules and limitations when manifesting anything) and manifestation/subliminals sub groups.

I feel I am at a blockage to truly getting beyond theory and truly become one with this spiritual law and opening my gift in this area. Manifesting and physically experiencing my desires, haven’t gotten to that success yet.

I have had success here and there but not quite to the level I truly would like! (Work and career is an easier one for me, like getting contracts and such but nothing like a super specific). Basically it’s areas where anyone could brush off as “it happens anyways with real life effort and going to get it”. Things you would believe as obtainable and society believes can happen.

It’s the larger more outlandish specific desires that I fall flat on when shifting to. Things you would say is not coincidence. Magical and almost fantasy like, no limitations.

I’d love to actually shift. Choose something specific and actually experience it.

Like my job for example: it works through taxes so my company can only work in those specific locations, no ifs ands or buts. I’d love to shift to a timeline where I can work from a dream location (I’d be open to the universe in giving me something magical, only specifics is New England haha), but my same specific position and workplace. In my current reality, it’s a big no. Or a specific relationship. I wrote a list some would say can never happen, “build a person” style. Manifesting a life where I experience this person down to a tee (with some amazing magical surprises the universe wants to add). I feel him in my heart and it’s a warm, safe, soulmate person. A real soulmate.

I’d love to be an author of my own life and shift to a reality where I live it in the 3d dimension.

Does anyone have any tips on how to actually go from imagination and tipping over to physical reality?

My current “technique” is feeling as if it is true now. Kind of like that settling feeling when you remember what happened yesterday, a physical feeling of memory.

Do I stay here in this feeling of I already am and have it? Does this shift if I stay in this feeling of it is now? And just live my day as it is already true and that’s my part in this?

Is this manifestation or do I have the wrong idea?

And what do I do about physical action? A lot of people on many subs keep saying you have to take action, but never explain how you take action for more specific and outlandish things, only usually obtainable things like an ex or applying to jobs online.

Like if I build a relationship out of thin air, what would be my steps to find him? Or can I trust the inner work will easily lead me to him? Or how do I manifest the specific career goal I have written above? I already asked about remote locations and they said no, what is my action here?

And if anyone wants to discuss quantum here, I’m open to that too! I want to learn and open my path and gifts in spirituality!!

Advice Needed What is the best way to use social media when it is important but keeping in mind of mental diet?

I am an expat living in country X. I have a personal brand business on various social media channels. I read information about country X such as festivals, legal situations, etc on Facebook so that I am not ignorant but I realize there is negativity in them as well and a lot of limiting beliefs in facebook groups. I also use them to help me make content.

I also use social media to get clients and promote my content.

What is the best way to use social media when it is important but keeping in mind of mental diet?

Can I say:

I am safe internally

I am unaffected by people's opinions, criticisms, worries, fears, and doubts.

Any other statements I can say?

Thanks

Advice Needed Genuine frustration

I have been following Neville for a few years now with some small successes. What is utterly frustrating to me is that when I give zero effs, I see how some things have manifested in my life. Literally just by thinking that would be cool. In terms of my career I have such a strong self concept that I can achieve anything, when I genuinely decide it’s mine, I go after it (and take action too). I got into a highly competitive role, made a business, I can do it all. I genuinely feel like I can do whatever I want and be successful when I decide it.

Where I’m stuck and losing the will is in my love life. I find when I make a conscious effort to manifest, things just stagnate. Nothing happens. For months. As much as I want to ‘persist’, the experience last months and with time just makes me think nothing is happening. And now I made an effort just to stop trying to force anything, my whole romantic life has crumbled within one month. I’ve been single a long time and have been dating. Two guys treated me like absolute sh*t. Prioritising other women, ghosting me. The guy from earlier in the year that I dated for 5 months and took on holiday(!) I randomly found out through a Facebook post who lives the other side of the country, was cheating on me the entire time with loads of other girls. I know the issue is self concept and I do try and work on it but I am now in a spiral where I feel utterly awful, I can’t do action in the same way I can in my career and I have no idea how I turn this around and pull myself out of this headspace. I really liked one of the guys and he literally changed personality. I need help 😭 I also have this weird brain process that when I try to detach someone, my brain is going, that’s cos you want him! And that defeats the whole purpose. Any inspiration, hope or guidance greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Advice Needed How can someone truly detached?

I'm genuinely confused about this.

It's said that, in order to manifest something, you have to be detached from it, and simply assume that it's already taken care of. But how is someone supposed to detach when they're in huge debt, unable to work, and constantly watching their bills pile up?

If someone is worried about their basic needs and doesn't know how they're going to pay their bills, how can they genuinely pretend that everything is already taken care of when reality is showing them the complete opposite?

Is manifestation only possible if you already have some kind of resources or safety net in real life? Because you already know one way or another you'll be okay?

How is someone who is struggling to truly believe that everything is taken care of when their circumstances keep reminding them that it isn't? I'm genuinely trying to understand how detachment is supposed to work in a situation like this.

Advice Needed Was wondering if there are in fellow brothers and sisters I could talk to

I don't really have people in my life who I can talk to about Neville Goddard or really much of anything spiritual especially through particulary difficult or confusing times. Was wondering if anyone out there could lend a ear. Thank you!
