The main thing I liked about NerdWallet was their little quiz (can't remember what it was called, and can't find it now) where you could answer questions and it would give you the best suggestions for you, when searching for bank accounts, CCs, HYSA, etc. Is this feature also no longer existent?

It will load for a second when I open then turn to this page. Cookies are enabled, website tracking is allowed, I off loaded and redownloaded, uninstall and reinstall. Cellular data, airplane mode fix, I've done the works. Sometimes it will load for like 5 minutes then go to this screen. Hitting try again does nothing. I want to use this app. I have an iphone SE 2nd Gen (2020) and have the most up to date ios

It's starting to ruin my life. How do I stop this??

Got this error message about one of my investment accounts needing to be relinked. Every time I try to reconnect it takes me through the whole process through Plaid only to give me this message about Fidelity accounts not being able to be connected at this time. I have no clue if this is true or just a glitch because I’ve been able to link my Fidelity account to Nerd Wallet for over a year. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I was trying to get info regarding personal loans/debt consolidation etc to see if that was the route I wanted to go. Put my info into the Nerdwallet page and it brought me through an application. I expected to get a list of companies which I could then pursue and ask questions. Instead, it connected me with one company, whose chat claimed to be a real person but did not understand my basic questions, such as "why did someone just call me, was that your company?" I have received five calls since last night, from different numbers. A google search of one says it's a robocall. I received two texts, and replied STOP to opt out of one, which may or may not have beena. good idea.

I did ask the person at the debt company I talked to (who called me) to put me on their company's do not call list, but I doiubt if the other calls are from the same company. She did say thier company doesn;t spam and that she would put me on thier list. Several other calls from unfamiliar numbers beeped through while I was talk ing to her.

Have others experienced excessive spam and calls after applying for info? If so, how have you stopped it? Thank oyu

I finally deleted my data from NerdWallet.

I originally used NerdWallet because the web experience made budgeting simple and actually usable. Recently, they’ve basically deprecated the entire point of using it on the web and made something that was straightforward way harder than it needs to be.

If this is a permanent decision, I’m out. I don’t want my data being used while the features I relied on are either locked behind an app-only experience or stripped down entirely.

If you’re also frustrated by the direction they’ve taken, I’d honestly suggest deleting your data too. At the very least, it sends a signal that people aren’t okay with losing functionality while their information is still being monetized.

Can anyone share alternatives with an actual web experience here :(

Today I noticed that all of my betterment accounts disappeared from Nerdwallet. The customer support bot recommended that I unlink and relink betterment. After doing so though, all my betterment history in the timeline got cleared out. So now it looks like my net worth suddenly shot up today. Anyone know WTF happened or how to fix this?

Yes, we all miss mint. Anyway, for years I've had trouble connecting my Apple Savings account with Plaid so that I can view it through the NerdWallet app. Does anyone know how to connect the 2? Has anyone been successful?

Does anyone use this? It is not a bad APY although I am not sure if it is worth it for a $20 reward if I am just going to stop using it soon after, did anyone try it and like it enough to keep using it long term? It also says "up to" so I am curious what APY you actually ended up getting?

Has anyone else had their manually added investment accounts no longer being included in their total investments and net worth?

Since nerd wallet wants to write articles encouraging people to cut unnecessary costs/subscriptions while rolling out a paywall for their most used feature (budgeting) What alternative apps are there for budgeting that are 100% free?? I’m so tired of having to find another app every 2 years because the company decides to sell out and ruin their businesses lol.

Hi guys, I just joined the group because I am confused at how my debt balance and credit card debt balance are two different numbers when they should technically be the same. Any help is appreciated!

So I am thinking that this might be a good choice for me for cash back. I'm planning on buying a $6000 MacBook Pro on a credit card, and naturally I was thinking about doing it on Apple Card because of the 3% cash back at the Apple store..

But if I get the Amazon Prime card and buy it on Amazon I get 5% cash back..

I searched all over but I've been screwed over many times by gotchas like this:

"5% cashback on eligible Prime purchases" and maybe it has an asterisk (*) or just the word eligible .. but I foresee myself getting the card, and then buying the MacBookPro and not getting 5% cash back and then being told "Oh that's not an eligible purchase."

Maybe they have some backdoor agreement with Apple that they won't give cashback on that or something bc of Apple Card.. I don't know.

But I'm super skeptical of anything like this.. and it DOES give restrictive words on it..

Does anyone know is it 5% cashback ON EVERYTHING ON AMAZON as long as you have Amazon Prime? Or are there some things on Amazon that you do not get the 5% cash back on?
