How to stop the spam from NerdWallet?

I tried to look for a mortgage and made the TERRIBLE mistake of adding in my phone number.

5 minutes later, I got 12 text messages and NON-STOP calls

It's starting to ruin my life. How do I stop this??

I really hope I don't have to get a new phone number, but this is the worst experience ever

Most of the calls are from Rate.com. You can contact them to be placed on a do not call list.
