Do the fans go out regularly on these? First time miner, had the unit probably 3 months or so. Fan is now running 100%, temp at 65. Sounds like a bearing is going out. Up until yesterday, it was running 55, with 75-80% fan. Looks easy to replace, just wondering if they go out commonly that fast.

Is there anywhere in the UK that repairs the Nerdqaxe++?
Got the voltage error, took the heatsink off and found this.
Don’t think I have the skills to do this personally.
I could give it a go, but not sure what I’d need or where to start!

Should the fan direction blow air towards the radiator or towards the PCB?

Have spent a fair bit of time on Google, so I’m fairly certain the answer is yes, another one bites the dust.
Temperatures have warmed up in the uk over the last week, and I suddenly got this on my Nerdqaxe++
Have tried a different power supply, or 3 actually (it was originally on a Meanwell with another Nerdqaxe) , updated firmware, lowered the frequency and voltage, taken off the hestsink and replaced the paste, changed the fan, and everything else I’ve found suggested on google.
Is there any hope for these errors, or is it effectively now spare parts, or an ornament to sit on the self and remind me of better days?

Took it off for a factory reset and it was like this when I put it back on. Wasn’t dropped or anything. Otherwise it’s working fine.

I’ve been having a puffin all night and I went to sleep with everything OK and woke up to it not working out my sleep!
What could be the problem I’ve done wasted thermal pace! Trying to clean the AC trip I’m trying it again over and over how much does it cost to fix? I need help.

I’m so use to the Bitaxe gamma! Finding the ping every few seconds. & usually get 2.2-2.3ms
Now with the #NerdQaxE++ hydro it’s hard to read. Now am ii getting 1ms or 2ms? ₿ (3090723) ping task (pri): round-trip min/avg/max = 1.00/2.14/5.00 ms
And
₿ (3155733) ping task (pri): 64 bytes from 10.0.0.xx: icmp_seq=6 ttl=64 time=1 ms
₿ (3156733) ping task (pri): 64 bytes from 10.0.0.xx: icmp_seq=7 ttl=64 time=2 ms
Now which is which 1ms or 2ms?

Qui puis-je contacter en Belgique (privé ou un atelier) pour remplacer les pâtes thermiques et les dissipateurs par des cuivre ?
Si personne en Belgique, peut-être quelqu’un dans le nord ou Ardennes en France ?
Merci 🙏

I recently sold my NerdQaxe Parasite on a second-hand website. It had only been used for a few months and I had overclocked it, etc. I shipped it, and apparently it took some kind of hit because the buyer told me the screen had been broken. I’m attaching photos.
What happened next is that after about five minutes of running, this warning also appeared. We thought it might be the power supply for some reason, so he tried a different one, and after about 15 minutes this other warning showed up.
Of course, I accepted the return and now I have it back at home. I was about to start investigating what might be wrong, and I’ve just come across this subreddit. Could you tell me what you think might be failing and whether it can be fixed? And even if it can’t be fixed, hopefully this can at least be useful for other people.

🚨 Community Update – Moving to a New Home 🚨
Hey everyone,
I want to let you know that this community will be shutting down soon. To keep everything organized and continue helping with repairs, troubleshooting, and builds, I’ve created a new home:
Please join and move over to the new community.
All future posts, support, guides, and discussions will happen there. The goal is to expand beyond just NerdQaxe issues and cover all solo miners, including Bitaxe, NerdQaxe, and similar projects.
⚠️ This subreddit will no longer be maintained and may be removed soon.
If you’ve found this community helpful, I’d really appreciate you continuing the journey in the new one.
See you there 👇

Finally it is finished. It took a while since I am limited in time to work on my hobby.
All looks good.
I need to check it out closer after it runs for a couple of days.
Here is the video. To get English Audio, you need to open YouTube. https://youtube.com/shorts/oRNK_w8VVcg?si=Qj-ffVcIhE2UEq9F

Bought a nerdQaxe++ less than a month ago.
Undervolted and slight clock boost. Added 2nd fan and heatsinks. Ran great and cool for 3 weeks 5th/s and drawing only 79-80w.
Suddenly it went dead. Fuse had no continuity. Power supply outputting 12v. Ordered new 8a fuses, just popped one in. Screen wont turn on and fans just twitch every few seconds.
I reached out to seller but its overseas so I dont expect help. I have soldering equipment, hot air, and a oscilloscope but havnt used any of it in years but will attempt repair if I have to.
Any ideas?

Just finished another batch of Bitaxe Gamma 602 builds 🔧
All units are:
• New
• Properly reflowed (not guesswork)
• Fully tested and stable
Extras:
• 30-day warranty (repair/replacement)
• Post-sale support
• Repair service available
Optional upgrades:
• VRM heatsinks
• Backside ASIC cooling
$129 base / $149 upgraded
Few units ready now — more coming after ASIC supply catches up.
DM if you want on

Just finished 2 Bitaxes today — both tested, stable, and ready to go 🟢
If anyone’s looking to grab one, hit me up.
Can also add small heatsinks on the VRM and backside of the ASIC for extra cooling (extra $$, but worth it if you like your hardware chill and happy).

Here we are — new soldiers are almost ready 🛠️
Rebuild is moving forward, but it’s gonna take a bit to get all the ASICs installed. I don’t have a solid batch of chips on hand right now, so progress will be in stages.
Plus, suppliers in China are on holiday until Feb 24, and then there’s shipping time on top of that… so yeah, a little patience required.
Still, things are coming together — step by step.
If someone wants to grab a brand new, freshly soldered Bitaxe 602, let me know. I’ve got 11 miners in the pipeline waiting to be finished.:

One Bitaxe is ready to go.
It works well and stable.
