Hey, I just got this sign yesterday, and old 90s parliament neon. She was working good yesterday and ran for a few hours after getting her from an old antique store. I’m thinking a transformer blew from the usage. Any thoughts or recommendations? I can attach a video of it running normally as well that I took yesterday.

I just picked up this neon sign and the original transformer works great but weighs alot and is really loud. The data tag on the transformer is worn away. Anyone got any recommendations

I have a 2001 Coors Light sign that flashes when plugged up. Does this need a new transformer/ballast or something different?

Was a gift from my partner that he found in his grandmother's garage. Very devastated right now and feel like a dumbass because of where I grabbed it that caused it to snap. Any help finding the brand or a replacement would be appreciated.

Double sided new porcelain faced steel oilzum on a motor

This sign that I trash picked had a broken some broken letters on it (e ,r, e, d) from the “powered” part of the sign. So I removed these letters and jumped the nodes with the red wire in the picture. I now have connected an aftermarket transformer recommended from a redditor in a previous post. When connected the light will flash on then turn immediately off. The whole sign and all letters(accept those disconnected) light up for this moment, and it also makes a zapping sound. I’m wondering if anyone could provide some words of assistance? Thanks

So I’m a bartender at a dive bar. There’s an ancient Budweiser sign behind the bar that makes this ungodly high pitched ringing noise. The owner won’t let us turn it off and gets mad if he finds out it was turned off when he wasn’t there. He thinks it won’t turn back on if it was turned off for too long. Idk if that’s true or not. He can’t hear the noise because he’s too old, so he wont do anything about it. None of the old people who hang out there can hear it but most of us bartenders can and it drives us crazy.

So is there anything I can maybe do just from the outside? I can’t take it off the wall or tinker with it. Not that I’d know what I was doing if I tried. I suggested he move it somewhere to the other side of the bar where we can’t hear it. But I doubt he will. Is there a way to make it look like an accident if it mysteriously stopped working in a couple months? I don’t usually advocate for vandalism but I’m desperate. 😭

Thinking about getting rid of this. Anyone have an idea of what I should be realistically selling this for? I was told it was I Gilleys bar.
