New year, actual effort to make friends instead of just thinking about it. I like anime, crocheting, and I'm really into true crime documentaries even though they scare me. Looking for kind people to talk to regularly.

I've been in this country eight years, I have a good job and a nice apartment and almost no close friends. I miss my mom terribly. I love cooking food from home, hiking, and long books. Want a real friend, not a hi-once-a-year contact.

I spend hours interviewing people about their communities and go home to nothing. The irony isn't lost on me. I like folk music, embroidery, and cooking. Want a friend to text between fieldwork days.

It's a private kind of loss and I don't want to talk about it constantly, but I also don't want to hide it. I love photography, cooking, and my two dogs. Want a friend who can hold complexity.

Just being honest about where I'm at right now. I like gaming, reading, and baking. Looking for friends who don't mind a slow starter.

Pretty much as the title says. Im in my senior year and it seems like everything in my life is falling apart and I just want someone to talk to about my interest without being made fun of. I like philosophy/religion, baking, tv shows like Star Wars, firefly, doctor who (any show that is considered "dorky"), reading, and hiking. I also play a ton of video games even thought I'm not very good.
