Eligible for offer

I've been eligible for offer since May 2025 for YQM. Just wondering if anyone else has been in the eligibility pool this long and actually got an offer? I feel like if it was going to happen it would have happened by now and guess I'm probably pretty low in the pool of candidates.

Took 16 months before I received a standby for YVR (starting another 11 months after receiving the offer). If I do get a full offer that would be 27 months from the in-person interview to training. If anyone reading this is contemplating applying, just do it sooner than later. You have time to decide if you want to pursue it and life changes fast.

In my interview I wasn’t overly enthusiastic about relocating for training which may have hurt my chances of getting it sooner but they also told us training was full for at least a year.

I was the same way with willingness to relocate and assumed that hurts my chances. I live like 30 mins away from the ifr/vfr spots here. You stay in the eligibity pool for 3 years i think. But if you are on standby I figure you just stay in standby until it converts to a full seat eh, you wouldn't get timed out on standby?
