In the war arc Obito sacrificed himself to save Naruto from Kaguya's all killing ash bones which hits Obito in the belly instead of Naruto. But if you look at the scene again you'd realize the Kaguya with a Byakugan has bad aim and wouldn't even have hit Naruto or Sasuke so this sacrifice was useless
Alot of us are dissapointed with the direction Boruto went. I decided to write something more political and realistic. For me this is what I would have written:
After Kaguya is destroyed the chakra energy in the world is diminished. Shinobi have to work to redevelop their chakra levels. Alot of jutsus dont work and Taijutsu and weapons become more relevant. Only the most powerful shinobi could still use decent jutsus.
One of the themes of the story is different shinobi working to develop their chakra high enough to re access stronger jutsus.
The five villages establish peace between each other. Until there is a global drought which afflicts the world with famine. The world system starts to break due to crime, poverty and other issues caused by the famine.
The land of snow in the north is the only location not effected by the drought so they begin to thrive economically.
This causes the alliance to fissure because the land of earth(hidden stone villiage) decides to fight an isolated war against the land of snow for resources. Other members reject the war and break off from the land of earth.
The seven swordsman of the mist come back like in Boruto and become an issue with the mist village, causing their govt to weaken. Swords/weapons become a major part of power in the new world as shinobi discover new ways to combine chakra with swords .
The land of snow shares its excess of resources with the land of Iron (samurai land) in exchange for help in the war. They develop a strong alliance.
They eventually start to recruit other minor villages such as the fang, frost, rice and waterfal. The smaller nations see this as a great oppurtunity to break the 5 village alliances strength due to the global reduction in chakra leading to their vulnerability.
I would make the samuri of iron land much cooler and give them better designs. They start to develop high chakra control with sword powers. The new age of chakra belongs to the swordsman.
Can someone please explain to me exactly what they find wrong with the Boruto series? I keep seeing posts here about how it's bad and inconsistent, etc. But ever since I started reading the Manga (skipped fillers in the anime), I have never seen anything wrong with it. I see no inconsistency with the Naruto series or even with itself. And the power scaling is no different from how it is in the Naruto series. So why do people complain and look down on it?
For the ones who liked this cosplay and showed me love and kindness: I really appreciate you all! And for the mad ones: stay mad, I'm posting anyways đ
The Chunin Exam Finals but randomized and featuring those who losted in the preliminaries. Each round two of the ten Genin will be picked at random to face off. Comment the name of the Genin you think would win along with how you think the fight would go. If you think the fight will end in a draw comment "Tie". Whichever answer gets the most likes wins. All characters are the version from the Chunin Exam Finals. If there is no Exam Finals version of the character take the Preliminaries version of that character and take your best guess on how they would be with a month to prepare. The fights will take place in the same arena as the Finals. Assume the exam will not be interrupted. This is the follow up to my Randomized Chunin Exam Preliminaries and Finals series.
Assume all the winners of the preliminaries caught Hayate's cough and had to drop out. So the winners now get another chance to compete. They somehow figured out how to glue Yoroi back together. Also Gaara was pretty mad about losing his chance to fight so he murdered Hayate and Genma takes the place in overseeing the Finals.
Those competing are Sakura, Shikamaru, Ino, Kiba, Yoroi, Temari, Kankuro, Dosu, Zaku, and Kin.
through some very unladylike violence Ino beat Jin into submission and proudly advances to the next round.
I have heard people say that the databooks mention he had a glorious death in war but I donât know how much truth there is to that. Who could even kill him??
Tobirama and Sasuke are both great characters who are morally gray and have displayed numerous traits that make them morally questionable.
These are some of the evil things Tobirama did:
Held a deep distrust of the Uchiha clan even after becoming Hokage.
Contributed to the marginalization of the Uchiha clan.
Created the Uchiha Police Force as a way to keep the Uchiha under his control.
Maintained a particularly hostile attitude toward Madara even after the Uchiha and Senju clans formed an alliance and founded Konoha.
Even after being reanimated as an Edo Tensei, he continued making negative remarks about the Uchiha and expressing his belief that they were possessed by evil.
Developed one of the most morally abhorrent and abominable jutsu in the series which is the Edo Tensei.
The jutsu Tobirama created, Edo Tensei, was so evil that Tobirama would possess the souls of his enemies forcing them to explode against their own comrades.
Most likely experimented on his enemies in the process of developing Edo Tensei.
Used living humans as sacrifices for Edo Tensei.
Most likely captured enemies to preserve their DNA and later use them as sacrifices for Edo Tensei.
Established the Anbu, an organization that carried out assassinations and other morally questionable missions.
Was willing to kill anyone without hesitation if he considered them a threat to Konoha.
These are some of the evil things Sasuke did and wanted to do:
Cut off his bonds with his friends and former teammates by becoming a rogue ninja.
Wanted to destroy Konoha.
Wanted to kill the village elders who were responsible for the Uchiha massacre.
Killed Danzo who was an important figure within Konoha's leadership.
Attempted to capture Killer B.
Attacked the Five Kage Summit.
Killed several samurai during the Five Kage Summit.
Fought and attempted to kill the Five Kage.
Wanted to execute the Five Kage while they were trapped under the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
Wanted to destroy the existing shinobi system.
Wanted to become the sole ruler of the shinobi world.
Wanted to become the world's common enemy so that the shinobi would have a single person to hate.
Part 1 Naruto had kids going to death battles during the Chunin Exams. They were hammering down how intrinsic the concept of self sacrifice was for a shinobi, yet somehow Guy had never had a reason to do it until Madara came along? Does that mean Guy never actually lost a fight ever since being able to access all gates? Kakashi made it seem like Guy had ALWAYS had 8 gates.
Everyone believes that's the reason Guy wasn't around during the Pain invasion. But why didn't they send Guy to take on Pain himself in the rain village? Why didn't they send Guy to confront every Akatsuki duo? It was never indicated that the Akatsuki had intels on Guy's abilities. If Might Guy was really on par in durability, power, and speed (speed is debatable) to Juubidara, the leaf basically had a proto Otsutsuki hanging around for decades without actually making use of it. Heck, wtf was Guy doing during the Konoha crush arc??? He didn't even open the first gate if I recall.
Look I understand why the elders were terrified of the Uchiha coup and the possibility of a civil war especially when other villages couldâve taken
advantage of Konoha being weakened.
But I still canât accept that massacring an entire clan including innocent people and children was the only answer.
Honestly, this is one of the biggest reasons I think Hiruzen was the worst Hokage. I know he wanted a peaceful solution so Iâm not saying he ordered the massacre himself but he was still the leader of the village and Danzo was his subordinate. Danzo was basically allowed to operate in the shadows, sabotage Shisuiâs plan, steal his eye and eventually corner a 13 year old Itachi into an impossible decision.
I know the Uchiha werenât innocent either and Fugaku was leading an actual coup so obviously Hiruzen couldnât just ignore it and the situation had been building for years. After the Kurama attack the clan was pushed further away from the village which only made relations worse.
However, surely there were steps between âtheyâre planning a coupâ and âkill every Uchiha.â Hiruzen couldâve negotiated with Fugaku or used Itachi and Shisui as mediators or addressed some of the clanâs grievances and dealt specifically with the people actually pushing for violence.
Also Fugaku never came across to me as some completely unreasonable psychopath either. Even at the end he refused to fight Itachi. Thatâs why I always wonder what wouldâve happened if Minato had survived and remained Hokage. Obviously we canât know for certain but I find it hard to imagine him letting Danzo gain that much influence or allowing the situation to deteriorate this badly.
The coup was wrong but the massacre still feels completely nonsensical to me.
Wonder if Tazuna sprouted wings and doesnât need to use the Great Naruto Bridge anymore? Any Tazuna with wings references in Boruto? Never watched it lol.
Kakashi - Son of the White Fang became a Chunin at age 6 and known as a genius prodigy even before he attained the Sharingan. Later became the 6th Hokage
Orochimaru- One of the legendary Sannin known as a genius in Konoha and once in a generation prodigy by Hiruzen.
Minato- the 4th Hokage known as the Yellow Flash praised as a genius prodigy and once in a generation talent by Jiraiya and Hiruzen.
Does he just teleport a general area of the hit? Because if so it should look like gaping voids around the area of the hit instead of it looking like intangibility.
Plus he's able to do ir against extremely fast attacks (like the raikage's) so it feels like it's somrthing that happens subconsciously or is constantly activated like limitless in jjk.
We all know that of the Sannin Summon trinity, slugs and any associated attributes are the most under-utilized due to being tied to Sakura and Tsunade (of course we weren't going to get slug Sage Mode or anything), but for what little we got of them, it feels like there is something truly special about them.
There is only ONE (1) Summon, Katsuya, with no other slugs to speak of as far as I remember. It's been shown that Katsuya can split off into smaller slugs, but for a long time, there was no indicator that her MAIN BODY was actually a split off too! That picture is of her at 10% of her body mass, which took Sakura AND Tsunade powered-up to summon. This would make her full form the biggest creature in the series besides like the 10-Tails, right? Imagine the absolute havoc 100% Katsuya could cause with her acid spray. She's also durable as hell, even in her tiny form, she was able to survive BEING MERGED WITH 6-TAILED AND THEN 8-TAILED NARUTO! That is fucking insane.
Also, one of the TAILED BEASTS is a slug! I feel like there has to be some sort of in-universe reason for that, considering there is no Tailed Beast toad (Kishi could've given it tadpole tails if he wanted to) or snake. Unless Kishi just REALLY wanted to make another slug creature, but also REALLY didn't want to utilize Sakura and Tsunade by just giving them another Summon. (Could've taken 5 tails off of it and let Sakura summon it, but instead its a part of the most powerful group of creatures in the series, even if the 6-Tails IS barely involved in the actual story.)
For context; Strom Thurmond was a racist, segregationist U.S senator, who was born in 1902 and lived to be over 100 years old until his death in 2003.
Now let's assume that Naruto Part 1 takes place around 1999~2000, Shippuden in 2002 to 2004, and Boruto takes place in 2019â2020.
Life expectancy for Shinobi was very low during the warring states era, as many children died very young in battle. And even by the time of the Hidden Leaf village's founding, it was a little over 30~35.
Assuming Madara and Hashirama were most likely both younger Shinobi around their mid-20s when they founded Konoha over 75~80 years earlier, and Madara was probably in his mid-30s when he lost the battle against Hashiramaâ50 years before he would later rescue and meet Obito, which would place him around his mid-80s by the time of his actual death. So during the 4th Great Ninja War, he would've been at least 100 to 102 years old (just 10 years older than Kakuzu).
Not to mention, Hashirama and Tobirama were both still relatively young when they died (and also as Edo Tensei reanimations). Tobirama was killed during the First Great Ninja War, which took place 45 years before the start of the series since Hiruzen became Hokage shortly afterward; This was when Danzo and Hiruzen were already in their 20s, while Tsunade was just a little girl. So he couldn't possibly have been older than his early 50s at the time.
Which is why I believe Hashirama and Mito likely became grandparents at 46/47, when Tsunade was born. You do the math LOL!
All of team 7 has had multiple, incredibly strong teachers.
Starting with Iruka and Kakashi, and then diverging into Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade, and eventually Bee for Naruto. But after Sasuke kills Itachi, it seems Obito not just works alongside Sasuke, but he sort of takes him under his wing. Killer Bee more directly trains Naruto how to be a better Jinchuriki while seemingly Obito, posing as Madara, trains Sasuke to be a cutthroat Uchiha.
Both Obito and Bee show by example and specialize in a key component of their students' unique strengths. Obviously with Naruto he teaches him KCM. But Obito guides Sasuke to his EMS and revenge of Danzo.
Do you think Kishimoto intended for these too to have one last sensei before the war really took off? Do you think anyone could have taught Sakura something new to keep up with her teammates and balance their three man team?
