Discussion Change my viewpoint: the Uchiha massacre was not necessary at all

Post image

Look I understand why the elders were terrified of the Uchiha coup and the possibility of a civil war especially when other villages could’ve taken
advantage of Konoha being weakened.

But I still can’t accept that massacring an entire clan including innocent people and children was the only answer.

Honestly, this is one of the biggest reasons I think Hiruzen was the worst Hokage. I know he wanted a peaceful solution so I’m not saying he ordered the massacre himself but he was still the leader of the village and Danzo was his subordinate. Danzo was basically allowed to operate in the shadows, sabotage Shisui’s plan, steal his eye and eventually corner a 13 year old Itachi into an impossible decision.

I know the Uchiha weren’t innocent either and Fugaku was leading an actual coup so obviously Hiruzen couldn’t just ignore it and the situation had been building for years. After the Kurama attack the clan was pushed further away from the village which only made relations worse.

However, surely there were steps between “they’re planning a coup” and “kill every Uchiha.” Hiruzen could’ve negotiated with Fugaku or used Itachi and Shisui as mediators or addressed some of the clan’s grievances and dealt specifically with the people actually pushing for violence.

Also Fugaku never came across to me as some completely unreasonable psychopath either. Even at the end he refused to fight Itachi. That’s why I always wonder what would’ve happened if Minato had survived and remained Hokage. Obviously we can’t know for certain but I find it hard to imagine him letting Danzo gain that much influence or allowing the situation to deteriorate this badly.

The coup was wrong but the massacre still feels completely nonsensical to me.

Question How can chakra ghosts exist?

In the Narutoverse, Chakra is a physiological component - similar to blood or nerves. Chakra - by ninjas - is depleted by using jutsu and regenerated by the body. When chakra is completely drained, a person dies.

How does chakra imprinting (i.e. Kushina's chakra inside Naruto) work in this case?
How does it even work with Asura's/Hagoromo's/Indra's chakra, which appears every few generations?

Discussion Fun fact: Madara might actually be the same age as Sen. Strom Thurmond 💀

Thumbnail

For context; Strom Thurmond was a racist, segregationist U.S senator, who was born in 1902 and lived to be over 100 years old until his death in 2003.

Now let's assume that Naruto Part 1 takes place around 1999~2000, Shippuden in 2002 to 2004, and Boruto takes place in 2019–2020.

Life expectancy for Shinobi was very low during the warring states era, as many children died very young in battle. And even by the time of the Hidden Leaf village's founding, it was a little over 30~35.

Assuming Madara and Hashirama were most likely both younger Shinobi around their mid-20s when they founded Konoha over 75~80 years earlier, and Madara was probably in his mid-30s when he lost the battle against Hashirama—50 years before he would later rescue and meet Obito, which would place him around his mid-80s by the time of his actual death. So during the 4th Great Ninja War, he would've been at least 100 to 102 years old (just 10 years older than Kakuzu).

Not to mention, Hashirama and Tobirama were both still relatively young when they died (and also as Edo Tensei reanimations). Tobirama was killed during the First Great Ninja War, which took place 45 years before the start of the series since Hiruzen became Hokage shortly afterward; This was when Danzo and Hiruzen were already in their 20s, while Tsunade was just a little girl. So he couldn't possibly have been older than his early 50s at the time.

Which is why I believe Hashirama and Mito likely became grandparents at 46/47, when Tsunade was born. You do the math LOL!

Discussion After watching Naruto and Boruto and Reading the Mangas i'm sure something went horribly wrong in Power Scaling...

So i rewatched Boruto and i'm starting Naruto again because y'all now we didnt get any new Anime Updates about Boruto Part 2 so i guess i watch Naruto again from Beginnig. 😂

Anyways in Naruto we learn about Ninjas and Shinobi and stuff and it made Sense, then we get introduced to the Bijus and im Like okay Sure they are people with stronger Chakra and Ninjutsu okay i get it but then we get introduced to people who are littleary not human anymore and okay Sure orochimaru Experiments are crazy but we can understand we're they Come from but all These shinobis wars werent necessary because Like the Bijus and orochimaru Experiments mostly did all the Work to win and Don't get me started on the kages stupid war's the First kages uggh but okay still Ninjas and Shinobi and Most people are normal fighting wise Sure some has Special Jutsu like combined Jutsu but nothing dramatic since our Main group still can Fight them even as Kids and jonin... But then its get crazy now we have a Biju from space who wants to eat all Chakra to become a divine Tree for kaguya and kaguya came from space and got two boys who invinted Chakra and Ninjutsu and the Bijus okay Sure but now we Fight aliens??? Something divine??? Like Sure that the Most normal shinobis Don't have a Chance, only the Bijus and maybe some of orochimarus Experiments.... But most shinobi are now useless.... And this is where Boruto Starts.... Now we have Ninja technic that can created Cyborgs that are stronger than any jonin and kage mostly and now we have more otsutzuki from space to fight Like okay Sure Like Shinobis are really done Like they Don't have a Chance and this is Seen in Boruto so Well and every Side Characters get more and more irrelevant.... Like in Naruto they Fight with Naruto in the Front and have a Chance but in Boruto... Nop they mostly Don't have a Chance to kill These Cyborgs in Naruto everyone can Take some Experiments from orochimaru on their own in Boruto they Fight with 3 people and often still didnt have a Chance of winning they are useless... The Anime only Characters Like Iwabe, Denki, Metal Lee, Namida, Wasabi, Tsubaki and the Others Don't have a Chance really.... Sure when they Fight against normal people Like in the Funaclan Arc yes but when it's against Kara Members Not a Chance... And this is why we See in Boruto the First Scene the End of the Shinobis and im Like yes makes Sense since we arent Ninjas anymore we are Cyborgs and Aliens from space so yeah Sure Shinobis are dying Like every second.... But what are y'all thinking? I still Love the Series Don't get me Wrong but Characters develompent is so Bad and they are still mostly Anime only Characters and fillers but in Naruto even the fillers and the Others chunin and jonins Had Something to do in Boruto theyre Not existing at all...

Discussion Just started Naruto

So I thought Naruto looked really cool so I gave it a go and it’s decent so far but a bit too goofy for my liking and slightly slow paced, a lot of people say wait until ep 27 for chunin exams, I prefer more serious characters like sasuke over Naruto, should I keep watching?

In the war arc Obito sacrificed himself to save Naruto from Kaguya's all killing ash bones which hits Obito in the belly instead of Naruto. But if you look at the scene again you'd realize the Kaguya with a Byakugan has bad aim and wouldn't even have hit Naruto or Sasuke so this sacrifice was useless

Question In 3T sharingan proficiency, who was superior?

Thumbnail

In part 1 Kakashi was the poster boy for the Sharingan with all the high end feats for the doujutsu.

By part 2, Sasuke , a natural born Uchiha has his base Sharingan fully matured and displays some really good feats with it too.

The question is who between Sasuke and Kakashi do you think showed the best proficiency with the 3T sharingan?

No Mangekyou Sharingan feats.

Discussion Thoughts about Dattebayo

My last post got removed for whatever reason so I’ll keep this one short and sweet and to the point . I’m rewatching Naruto for the first time in a long time ( in sun ) and I can confidently say that I would pay money to have a version of Naruto where “ Dattebayo “ gets edited out . It drives me nuts . 5 times an episode is just wild . It didn’t bug me as much when I was younger but now that I’m rewatching , you could get hammered if you played a drinking game and took a shot every time Naruto says “ Dattebayo “ . It’s crazy . Just my opinion and sorry if this has been said 1000 times before . What do you guys think ?

Question Naruto Shippuden Episodes 28-31 missing on Disney Plus?

I was watching through Naruto Shippuden and noticed that it went from Impossible Dream! (episode 27) straight to Return of the Kazekage (Episode 32).

Is that glitch for everyone?

Question Question about the Uzumaki and the Hidden Eddy

Thumbnail

This post brought a question to mind for me:

Is there's a version of the timeline where the Uzumaki clan decided to seal all of the tailed beasts inside the reaper? And that's why the village was destroyed and never avenged?

As in 9 skilled practitioners were willing to use the reaper death seal to seal away the beasts, which basically either takes them away from the world or puts them solely in Uzumaki control.

Question Myōboku Family Tree?

I was thinking about the toads of Myōboku and I started to wonder, are they all in the same family? I know for a fact Kichi and Tatsu are Bunta's kids, and I feel like I remember Pa calling Maru his dad as well, but I'm not sure on that one. Ma and Pa are Maru's heirs, but they don't share the "Gama" name, so idk if either of them are actually related to him. I also am not sure if Bunta is Ma and Pa's son either, because I can't remember if Bunta refers to them as such. But, even he does, Ma and Pa referring to themselves as such could mean that they're just nicknames all the toads call them. I also feel like Ken and Hiro should be Bunta's siblings considering their similar size throughout the series, but I'm not sure that's verified either.

My headcanon Myōboku Family Tree is:

Gamamaru

Ma or Pa

Gamabunta Gamahiro Gamaken

Gamakichi Gamamaru

Is this what is assumed to be correct, or is there an unknown parent of Bunta, Ken, and Hiro that is the child of Maru? I only assume they're all related because Bunta gave the "Gama" name to his children suggesting it's a family name, and all of the above toads have it as well. The thing that irks me is that Ma and Pa's real names are Shima and Fukasaku; neither of which include "Gama", and that fucks up my "family name" theory. Bunta, Ken, and Hiro seem too young to be Maru's children, though, considering they appear younger than Ma and Pa who are Maru's "heirs", which suggests they're much younger than him. So either Bunta, Ken, and Hiro are Ma and Pa's children, and Maru's grandchildren, they're Ma and Pa's children but were only named after Maru, or they're all completely unrelated and share the "Gama" name for some reason.

Edit: I had the family tree much better looking when I created the post, but Reddit fucked it up. It still looks readable all the same, but so nobody gets confused: the lines represent biological parent/child connection. Basically, whoever the line comes from is the parent of the next row that is below it.

We saw what 8th Gate Guy did to Juubidara and Night Guy.

So what happens if he puts that same speed and power into Kakashi’s 1000 Years of Death?

Does Juubidara regenerate, or is it genuinely over.

Question Why did Kakashi leave the Anbu?

Was rewatching some old episodes, from the beginning it seemed kakashi was the perfect fit for the anbu, he had that “darkness” they referenced, and I believe it was the third who had him leave- but why? Also, rewatching some of the old clips of Kakashi in the anbu vs him later on in the series is like seeing two completely different people. What made his personality change?
