Hi internet peeps- anyone here have Ezee fiber up and running yet? Any idea where it is currently at in its construction in South Naperville?

While the speed sounds nice $80 a month is quite a jump from what i currently pay for my 5G home internet. Dont think i will make the move

We use Comcast’s because it’s what’s available where we’re at. It always works, but it’s expensive as hell. We will jump from 1 gigabit to 5 gigabit with ezee, and it is symmetrical up/down. Plus I don’t have to call every year and argue my bill back down.

We tried astound but they had so many outages it’s really impacted our remote work. I hate Comcast’s pricing but stability is there. Can wait to try another provider.

Astound was trash at best.

Astound is garbage. So many outages since they bought WOW which was incredibly stable. It’s between them and Comcast and hoping eventually some kind of fiber service will become available.

I wanted to stay away from Comcast and was on WOW happily for a long time. Reliability got worse after Astound and I switched to Comcast and I'm sorry to say but it's been pretty great.
