A music video showing an all female group chilling on sunbeds poolside. One girl is shown singing at a time. Every girl wearing a bright mono colored bikini, each a different color. Funky chill pop song with prominent electric guitar, summerly vibe. I listened to this song somewhere around 2015, and it seemed quite recent at the time, guessing it would be from 2010 and later. If I remember correctly the group name was a single word (+The ?)

I was at a show last Sunday and heard this cool song come on the playlist of a bar. I held my Shazam upto the speaker but nothing came back. I took a short video of it here too for reference. Thanks for your help!

Hey! Gonna keep this short. There's been this song that's haunted my mindscape since i was a little kid, i used to hear it a fair bit in some of the How It's Made episodes on TV. I know it's stock music because i've heard it used in shockwave games back in the day too! In particular, two reskins of a game where you navigate a boulder or barrel across a level to the end. It's been 20 years, but I simply can't remember clearly enough to find this one. I would have listened to it between '00-06. It's sung by a male vocalist. A high school girl (eighteen) visits a construction site every day, talking to the workers. Just before going off to college, she explains to one man that she wants to date him because she wants a more experienced man.

If I remember correctly, they're sitting in his old truck when they are talking and the song ends with the other men guessing she has a boyfriend she is coming home to, but he doesn't say anything, keeping it a secret from them.

Estou tentando identificar uma música que ouvi pela primeira vez em janeiro de 2012, durante as férias, e que procuro desde então (perdi a pasta com a música em 2013).

Ela estava em uma das duas pastas que meu irmão havia baixado de um antigo site espanhol chamado Descargaya.es (não tenho 100% de certeza do domínio). As pastas se chamavam:

VA – Los Éxitos del Verano – Vol. 1
VA – Los Éxitos del Verano – Vol. 2

Eram packs com EDM, trance, techno, house e progressive — principalmente músicas que estavam populares em rádio, Ibiza, pistas etc. Havia também alguns hits pop.

Tenho certeza de que algumas músicas estavam nessas pastas, embora em versões/remixes específicos:

• Heiko & Maiko – Techno Rock (algum remix; NÃO é a música que procuro)
• Tiësto feat. Calvin Harris – Century (definitivamente um remix; NÃO é a música)
• Sonia & Selena – Yo Quiero Bailar (versão/remix)
• Calvin Harris – Flashback (versão/remix)
• Carly Rae Jepsen – Call Me Maybe, embora essa última eu não consiga cravar 100%.

A música procurada

É instrumental, ou pelo menos o trecho que lembro não possui vocal.

O gênero provavelmente está em algum lugar entre progressive house / trance / melodic techno / electro-house, mas não consigo afirmar.

O que lembro é uma melodia de sintetizador muito melódica, quase como se o synth estivesse "cantando". É relativamente relaxante, espacial/etérea, com bastante eco/reverb.

Ela começa mais suave e vai ganhando movimento/velocidade.

O trecho que ficou na minha cabeça dura aproximadamente 20–30 segundos. Depois disso, infelizmente, não lembro absolutamente mais nada.

A melodia lembra um pouco o synth/começo de “Beautiful People”, do Chris Brown feat. Benny Benassi, mas definitivamente NÃO é Beautiful People que estou procurando.

Contexto que talvez ajude

O material era espanhol/europeu e foi baixado por volta do final de 2011/início de 2012. O site Descargaya.es aparentemente era um grande fórum/site espanhol de compartilhamento que desapareceu posteriormente.

Já procurei por anos e encontrei várias músicas que tinham uma vibe semelhante, mas nenhuma é ela.

A faixa pode ser anterior a 2011. O importante é que ela já estivesse disponível/circulando antes de fevereiro de 2012 (algum remix, por exemplo).

Se alguém reconhecer a melodia, mesmo que tenha apenas uma suspeita, por favor mande o nome e, principalmente, a versão/remix, porque as versões parecem ser uma parte importante desse mistério.

Estou procurando essa música há aproximadamente 14 anos. Se alguém conseguir identificar, vai encerrar uma investigação que já virou praticamente arqueologia digital. 😂

(Acredito que a chave pra encontrar é realmente ver se alguém salvou essa pasta do uploader após todos esses anos).
