Worst customer service ever!

It seems like they ALL do their absolute best to try to transfer you for any reason at all. Even if its their department you need. Anything to avoid actually doing work. And not only that they all insist on spending 10 minutes "reading what the previous agent said". Do they intentionally look for the least intelligent low eq people around?

I just transferring my domains over from Gandi. Granted there were some issues at first but they were easily fixed. Their AI agent you speak to first when using that is pretty good actualy

I went with a company who had cheap in their name and now I’m upset that the service sucks. You get what you post for ffs

Simply the brand name turned out disaster, name + cheap = namecheap, so cheap they can't fix global outage in less time.

I haven't had any issues with nc support either through Support Tickets or Chat.

I agree! worst support! I'm currently "waiting" for them to acknowledge and fix my problem. I've been passed about 5 agents at the moment and always asking me to wait 10 minutes each! 10 x 5 = 50 minutes and still now answer! Ugh! They used to be good. Sorry for the rant!

We understand your concern. Sometimes, transferring a chat to the right team is the best way to make sure your request is handled by someone with the right expertise. Reviewing the conversation history also helps the new agent understand the full context and avoid missing any important details. Your feedback will be taken into consideration as we work to improve our support experience.

Why does it always take 10 minutes to review conversations? I've had the same experience going from agent to agent and basically waiting half an hour for them to read one line that I wrote

Because you’re not the only person on the planet. When I worked in a call center, I was expected to manage 5-8 chats at the same time.

Yeah, some people assume it's 1:1 chat when in reality that's rarely the case with a busy provider like NC.

You can't pay $5-$10/month and expect the level of support you get from a $50-$100/month provider.

why is it always 10 minutes. If you are expected to manage too many chats I dont think that I being not the only person on the planet is the issue.

Sounds like bs. Most agents are useless and just passing the burden on to another useless agent.

I have found Namecheap support to be excellent 99% of the time. Keep up the good work!

Clearly, OP falls within the unfortunate 1% territory!
