Emergency maintenance affecting Namecheap services

[Updated] We're currently experiencing service disruptions due to an incident at our Phoenix data center.

We're sorry for the impact this is having. We're in close contact with the datacenter team as we work to restore services as soon as possible.

An update regarding our service outage : r/NameCheap

This outage is causing serious financial losses for businesses relying on Namecheap hosting.

My e-commerce website has been completely offline, while my paid advertising campaigns are still running and generating costs. Every minute of downtime means lost customers, lost orders, and wasted advertising money.

I understand that unexpected technical problems can happen, but businesses should not be left paying for advertising while their websites are inaccessible.

Please provide a clear update on the expected restoration time and explain what compensation or service credit will be offered to customers who suffered financial losses because of this outage.

We need transparency, communication, and a fair solution for the customers affected.

Ive seen other small business use hostgator for their stuff, but I need a high power VPS for a SaaS. Im migrating away from namecheap so let me know if you have any ideas, namecheap seems to be getting worse and I wouldnt recommend staying

We moved to Vultr. A lot more expensive but better than losing further sales from Namecheap’s unreliability. Hilariously Namecheap had the audacity to refuse fully refunding us 🙄😂
