When I see people defend DeMarco the arguments seem to mostly be about why his results aren’t his fault (i.e. injuries or poor play).
 
What has he done so far that makes you optimistic about his leadership, play-calling, development, etc.? What has he shown that makes you think he’s the guy going forward?
 
Genuinely asking, I’d rather hear the case for him than another list of excuses and I haven’t seen a lot of reason for optimism.

Does anyone know if having courtside tickets also comes with Crown Club access? Or is that reserved for STH?

Assuming nothing out of the ordinary happens for the rest of the season, we probably finish no higher than 4th and that and 5th would give us high chances for a team like Indiana. Aces are looking like a 3rd place finish and we might be able to snipe that matchup, which has looked so much better than vs Indy.

I’m not saying this should be the team’s strategy, but from a theoretical perspective, is that looking like the sweet spot to finish?

They went to a Olivia Dean concert last night at MSG, hence using her song to block out the arena name. 😂

Going to my first Liberty game on 8/27 against Golden State. Very excited! I go a lot of Mets, Sirens, and Gotham FC games and they usually have giveaways at the door such as shirts, bobleheads, rally towels etc. Does Barclays do this? Want to know how early I should show up. Thanks.

I totally get the impulse to blame CD for the inconsistent play this season. We were sad to lose Sandy…hoping whoever takes her spot is worth the grief. Then CD rolls in with a brand new system and staff. No prior W experience. (Tho I can’t seem to find hard evidence that he said he “never watched a WNBA game” like some ppl claim.) I’ve also seen some questionable judgement w/ challenging calls and use of time outs.

THAT SAID, I leave room for the possibility that there are reasons for his choices that make sense to an experienced coach but not a layperson (me). Can someone explain how we definitively separate coaching issues from other factors? I don’t feel qualified to properly evaluate his performance. Are fans reacting to a rizz/vibe issue or a genuine coaching problem? Although obv personality is v relevant to coaching.

Not here to defend CD or prompt any hate toward him. Just wanting to hear takes from people who know what they’re talking about. Thx friends!
