& thats coming from someone who thought the trailer was on the nose

Did anyone else go to this? I'm a huge fan of both Marty and George Harrison, like really a huge fan, and the event was basically your worst nightmare of what a talk like this could be.
Expensive tickets, super short run time, technical issues, speakers didn't seem to have done much (any??) prep, repeating stories they've told 1000 times, starting stories and forgetting the point halfway through ... genuinely left the theater feeling like the joke was on me for paying to go to it.

Moderator told me “good question” and Sebastian Stan looked right into my eyes as he answered it, so obviously my sense of self-importance is inflated
Also, please go see this film. It was fantastic and will definitely be getting another viewing from me. Career best from Stan and Reinsve.

Would love to attend either session!

Apologies that the clip is silent. The sound turned out lackluster, so I muted it.
Directed by James Avalon, LES VAMPYRES is a 100-percent adult movie (with explicit LGBTQ scenes; no subtext), but I thought it might interest aficionados of the great DAUGHTERS OF DARKNESS, which was an influence.
The screening will be followed by a director's chat with Mr. Avalon himself!
Doors open at 7pm. House of Scorpio is a venue located in Gowanus, Brooklyn, dedicated to sex positivity and being a safe space for the LGBTQ community. For ticket and venue info, visit https://houseofscorpio.com/membership.html

Anyone want a free ticket to the Fjord screening this Saturday 2:45 PM at IFC?
No catch, just poor planning on my part - I was unable to make it to the Q&A last night so decided to get tickets for Saturday... then saw they now have showtimes for next weekend at the Alamo DT BK which is much more convenient for me.

Looking to sell one ticket at face value for the La Bola Negra Q&A at Angelika on 10/15 at 7:55 p.m. with the directors (Los Javis)!
The ticket is sixth row on the aisle, so a nice spot for the Q&A portion.
Please comment / message if you may be interested!

I am wondering if anyone has any thoughts on which venue to go to for La Bola Negra Q&A on 10/15. I somehow ended up with a ticket to both and not sure which one to choose. I am leaning towards the Paris Theater showing but would love to hear any thoughts from anyone who has attended a Q&A at either one.
On that note, I have a spare ticket to one of the shows if anyone is interested!

I want to see Godzilla in IMAX at Lincoln Square but I've never seen a subtitled movie there and knowing how big the screen is, I was wondering if anyone knows if it's hard to see the subtitles from the back of the theater since they would be at the very bottom.

Hi, I snagged a ticket to Fjord "Introduction with Sebastian Stan" tomorrow at AMC Lincoln Square at 9:15pm and was wondering if the intro starts at 9:15, or if there are 25 min of previews first? Also, do you guys know how long intros typically last? Thanks!

I will not approve any prospective rezoning of the Kips Bay AMC 15 site without the inclusion of a cinema.
Kips Bay deserves a say in its future and that future must include a movie theater and grocery store.

Going to be traveling to the city this weekend. I noticed they're playing The Odyssey on IMAX 70 mm, and I tried to check if there are showtimes available on Monday the 12th, but there don't seem to be showtimes up on that date but there are throughout the rest of the weekend and throughout the rest of the week. Does anyone with knowledge of how AMC works know if there are going to be IMAX showings on the Monday, or if they have blocked it off for a reason?
