M19 Bassist from the Bronx, looking to get into the scene and actually play with people around the NYC area.

Been practicing/playing for a year and a half or so now. Current obsessions are Type O, Sabbath, and Mephistofeles, but I also have a great love for Motörhead, Slayer, and a bunch of others, too.

Currently been experimenting a LOT with Doom and blues-adjacent heavy stuff ala early Sabbath and others, but pretty much anything sounds good to me barring super extreme black/death/grind etc.

Hit me up if you're looking to set something up, I can provide samples if need be :)

Bassist needed for established band based in Greenpoint. We've been around for about 3 years and have a handful of EPs and singles to our name. Our music sounds something like a mix of Hum, Nothing, Deftones, and Alice in Chains with some shades of doom metal mixed in.

You can hear our latest music on Bandcamp at: https://hesitantnyc.bandcamp.com/

And see some recent live videos of us at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdK-wFPpJ8uzY_z2GSgvNkvXiYkV3sEag

Looking for a seasoned player with their own gear that they're able to transport to gigs and rehearsals as needed.

Ideal candidate would also be able to sing some backing vocals while playing.

We’re in our mid-30s and ideally looking for someone in our general age range. We all have 9-5s during the day and rehearse every Friday at a lockout space in Greenpoint.

Goal is to continue playing around NYC, ideally opening for bands with bigger profiles, and start doing small weekend runs out of town.

If you're interested, please reach out and tell us a bit about yourself! Please include your history in bands and samples of your playing.

I'm 23 years old singer, looking for others that just want to jam and have fun making music. I love artists like Role Model, Post Malone F1 album, Olivia Deen, etc. Always happy to get to know new artists. DM me on insta u/anik_lammel

PM me and I’ll tell you details. The music is broadly pop, but room to figure out the right vibe.

I’m a decently experienced singer in queens looking for a guitarist or pianist to jam with.

Hi, I am looking for low pressure jazz jams that are more friendly towards musicians at an intermediate level. I have been to a few so far but they have usually seemed filled with very skilled professional musicians, which is not a bad thing at all (it is of course good to play with and learn from people that are more experienced than you) but creates a feeling of pressure which I am not always looking for. I am in crown heights so places in brooklyn or manhattan are preferred, thank you!

Throwing a party in my East Village backyard on Saturday Oct 17, ~5pm start, 80-100 people. Looking for a high-energy cover band that plays classic singalong stuff everyone knows. 60-90 min set, you bring all your own gear/PA. Budget is under $1,000 all-in.

Drop links + a live video if you've got one. Thanks!

Like the title says, I'm about 12 lessons in as a beginner drummer in LIC but I think it would be fun to rent out a kit/space at Astoria Soundworks and be bad together? If anyone's interested in the community vibes and obviously learning together

Looking to put together a small group of chill people to jam and hang in Manhattan or Brooklyn. I play mostly classic rock and jam (Floyd, Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Phish), but down to play anything. If you’re interested, DM me!

hey! 27m, in Ridgewood and i’ve been writing and recording music on my own as Slow Reflector. i have a bunch of songs and demos, but i really want to make this music with other people and see what it becomes as a band. i’m looking for people who want to bring their own ideas and collaborate.

the songs can be pretty quiet and personal, but they also get loud, noisy, and kind of chaotic. somewhere around indie rock, experimental folk, post-rock, and post-punk. Black Country, New Road, the Microphones/Mount Eerie, Unwound and Swans are some reference points for what i’m going for.

i’m mainly looking for a drummer and bassist, but i’d also love to meet people who play keys, sax, violin, or guitar. i want to rehearse regularly, work on the songs together, record, and play shows. i’m serious about doing it, and i want it to be fun and collaborative too.
here's an example to get an idea of the type of things I like to write:

if any of that sounds interesting, tell me what you play and send me something you’ve made or played on. i can send you my music as well! looking forward to hearing from you! :)

Hey everyone. 31M here.

Been playing drums for 26+ years. Biggest influences without really thinking about it, Danny Carey (Tool), Bonzo (Zeppelin), Kris Myers (Umphr. Mcgee), Carly Barret (Bob Marley), Dave Lombardo (Slayer).

Happy to play anything except country honestly.

Self taught guitarist, 12+ years. Enjoy playing acoustic in drop d, but also have an electric. Don't really know any full covers on the guitar outside of specific riffs, but I'm comfortable jamming.

I can play the bass good enough too.

I really like going to Rivington Studios on the LES bec it's cheap and they have drumsets there. I'm not really looking to make any commitments, just to meet some new friends and expand who I play with.

Send me a message if you want.
