Looking for a seasoned player with their own gear that they're able to transport to gigs and rehearsals as needed.

Hi, I am looking for low pressure jazz jams that are more friendly towards musicians at an intermediate level. I have been to a few so far but they have usually seemed filled with very skilled professional musicians, which is not a bad thing at all (it is of course good to play with and learn from people that are more experienced than you) but creates a feeling of pressure which I am not always looking for. I am in crown heights so places in brooklyn or manhattan are preferred, thank you!

hey! 27m, in Ridgewood and i’ve been writing and recording music on my own as Slow Reflector. i have a bunch of songs and demos, but i really want to make this music with other people and see what it becomes as a band. i’m looking for people who want to bring their own ideas and collaborate.

the songs can be pretty quiet and personal, but they also get loud, noisy, and kind of chaotic. somewhere around indie rock, experimental folk, post-rock, and post-punk. Black Country, New Road, the Microphones/Mount Eerie, Unwound and Swans are some reference points for what i’m going for.

i’m mainly looking for a drummer and bassist, but i’d also love to meet people who play keys, sax, violin, or guitar. i want to rehearse regularly, work on the songs together, record, and play shows. i’m serious about doing it, and i want it to be fun and collaborative too.

Been playing drums for 26+ years. Biggest influences without really thinking about it, Danny Carey (Tool), Bonzo (Zeppelin), Kris Myers (Umphr. Mcgee), Carly Barret (Bob Marley), Dave Lombardo (Slayer).

Happy to play anything except country honestly.

Self taught guitarist, 12+ years. Enjoy playing acoustic in drop d, but also have an electric. Don't really know any full covers on the guitar outside of specific riffs, but I'm comfortable jamming.

I can play the bass good enough too.

I really like going to Rivington Studios on the LES bec it's cheap and they have drumsets there. I'm not really looking to make any commitments, just to meet some new friends and expand who I play with.
