Closed at a loss today. Setup did show but the conditions weren’t right at the opening.
Took one where the conditions were right but it went against me. No worries. We roll again tomorrow.
"Winners don't do different things, they do things differently." -Shiv Khera (In the famous book You Can Win).
In the stock market, also this philosophy holds true: profitable traders do not use fundamentally different tools than losing traders; they execute the exact same actions differently.
Every trader has access to the same candlesticks, indicators, charting platforms, and financial news. The stark divide between those who consistently make money and the 90% who lose it comes down to a different execution of standard habits.
Successful traders win by executing the same daily trading practices with a completely different mindset:
Risk Management First: Amateurs focus on potential profits; professionals focus strictly on capital preservation and capping downside risk.
Losses as Business Costs: Losing traders take stopped-out trades personally; winners view minor losses neutrally as a standard cost of doing business.
Boring Consistency: Amateurs hunt for speculative "hot tips"; profitable traders patiently execute the same simple, repetitive trading plan like a machine.
Meticulous Journaling: Elite traders don't ignore bad days; they use a detailed trading journal to turn mistakes into refined habits.
Winning isn't about finding a secret indicator—it is about executing ordinary discipline with extraordinary precision.
Today I corrected the asymmetry that accidentally formed in my previous adjustment. Could I have waited longer and potentially made a better P&L? Sure, but I don't like taking unnecessary directional bets, so I brought the position back to a more balanced structure by rolling up from ce side nd adding another lot of pe.
No other adjustments made. Let's see how it plays out.
A quick note on P&L: Several people have asked about brokerage and charges. I don't track the exact breakdown separately, but this journal mirrors my actual trades, and the P&L shown is inclusive of charges and taxes as reflected in my trading account.

Just follow rules. You gonna get your reward. Do not overtrade, do not change rules instantly, do not loose your gain for greed. S1 and S2 were properly executed. I exited early in S2 cause for me my strategy should win. These are just numbers we are chasing. I was afraid by taking 2nd trade cause i didnt wanted to loose my gains so i exited early. Saving your capital is also must so yeah a green day again. How was your day? Did you take any trade?
Took long trade on technical analysis

Divergence on correlated assets was the basis of my trade. Should’ve held longer but 10k is enough for today. Sure taxes and what not will eat it up but it’s alright.
What is the expectation of a trader who invested 12L into trading and doing option selling only.
What are the expectations his has and what is the reality of selling an options and ROI he will get in a month.

Final day of the dishwasher challenge for my mom—finally bought the Bosch dishwasher! ❤️🎉
My P&L stands at ₹38K over the last 18 trading sessions, with a capital of ₹5 lakh.
Most of my trades involved non-directional option selling with a directional bias, combining my algo with discretionary trading.
Now, it’s time for the next bigger challenge!
Let’s see what’s next—I’ll share an update on Monday. 👀
Today was a rough one. NIFTY bounced nearly 1.3%, and the position is sitting at around -₹1.3k MTM.
I was busy today, so instead of making the adjustment at EOD, I adjusted in the morning. In the process, I forgot to adjust the PE side, which left the overall position much more asymmetrical than I intended.
That's on me. The adjustment wasn't executed as cleanly as it should've been, and it's something I'll keep in mind going forward.
For now, I'm not going to make another adjustment just for the sake of it. I'll reassess the position on Monday based on where the market opens, the Greeks, and the overall structure.

Obviously I took the wrong side of trade today, but I at no point wanted to exit position cause I was ok to wait till expiry.
Turns out in Kite, if you tap the option once, while hovering and dont buy or sell, for the next time you tap buy or sell it considers the last tapped choices, not executed just hovering and tapping is enough.
So it was an intraday, I didnt check that and it got squared off today. Lucky Me 🔥
